Hahah... they really should have saved the "History Awaits" for the KU Men's team this year.
They wasted a good slogan. I am in full hoops mode. This game didn't phase me one iota. |
Oh, and Phil Steele is a genious111

It was all about who had the home field today. |
Glad to see the kstate peeps stayin' classy. Congrats on the win guys. No excuses here. I'm ready for next year with Pick I think he is going to be a good QB. Something is wrong with Reesing mentally.

For all intents and purposes... the KU football season was over in Colorado.
Now, once college football gets a playoff system... that will change. College football is my 4th favorite sport. 1. College Hoops. 2. NFL Football 3. MLB. 4. College Football. 5. NBA |

As for being a good college football QB, the future will tell. |
Congrats to K-State. Where does the overall series sit after this game?

Yeesh. What a horrible game for KU. I take that back. What a horrible game for Reesing...again. I don't know wtf is going on with him, but he's been horrible the last 4 weeks.
I thought even with his stupid ass mistakes, the defense was holding KSU. But, it had to give eventually and KSU capitalized. Congrats on the win! |

Inferiority complexes really do show, I'll say that.

Nice game KU fans. If it wasn't for those turnovers by Reesing, I'd say that you may had won this game.
3 turnovers really hurt you. IIRC, 3 of them were 10 points off, weren't they? Of course, K-State gave KU alot of oppiturnites to win the game in the 4th quarter with some shoddy playcalling by K-State. |

Sorry. Better luck again next year. |

#2. Not sure how that means I have an inferiority complex. |

Basically, this game was alot of missed oppiturnies all together. 3 turnovers however, pretty much killed them. |

However, I did say that they weren't going to win the Big XII North though. I don't think 4 wins is really going to win it. I see either Neb or KSU with 5. |

#2. KU was still a contender in the North until today...than they lost. #3. KU never stopped being just a basketball school. Anybody who is actually paying attention to recruiting practices and results knows that. |

They completely tore up that KU defense on the ground with 43 attempts for 264 yards, a 6.1 YPC, compare to KU's running game with a 23 for 58 yards, a Larry Johnson-like 2.5 YPC. This is the same team that tore up that talented OU defense in the last 3 quarters on the ground. And when the weather is going to get cold, it probably will make a difference, especially if the game is in Lincoln. |

Listen to me sonny. If you don't have a strong running game (See Missouri and KU for example) you ain't going anywhere, but down in the toilet. It's simple logic. If you have a good running game, and play some type of a defense, your team control the tempo of the game to your advantage. Also you'll be going bowling. KU does not have either one. Neither does Missouri. It is NOT a coincidence that they both are in the bottom of the Big XII North. Nebraska has a good defense. Their running game, suspect at best. If I was Conning, going against Nebraska, I'd stack 8 in the box, and make the freshman beat me with his arm. It's simple football anatomy. |

I'm still waiting to see that rational argument for firing Mangino, btw. |

I have tried to explain everything to you up to this point. Obviously, you aren't going to listen to me, which is fine. Enjoy sitting at home, eating cheez-its. |
I'm just trying to understand why some of you feel so proud about beating such a bad football program. Why do you care so much if you are so much better than us?
