It was fun to see Tebow get his ass kicked, but he really showed some class there.

Not sure dude, I never was one that put God as the sole reason to winning or losing a game....

I can see everyones angle. But to me it seems petty to bring God into something so meaningless in life as a game...

Thats just me though... I expected that from GoChiefs, but was caught off when some of you guys did it...

My apologies.

Jesus ****ed me man!!!

If Teblow was a real man thats what he'd say. He gave god credit for the wins time to lay this turd at his feet...

Reerun_KC 12-05-2009 06:46 PM

Now how can this guy thank God?

Did God show favorites tonight?

I like the Nub fans on this board so I want them to win. I don't think they will though.

Division II National Semifina #2: California (PA) @ Northwest Missouri State University. Winner advances to the National Championship game against Grand Valley State University.

NW recieves to begin the game, scores a TD with some balanced offense. 7-0 BEARCATS.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 07:53 PM

Cal (PA) marches straight down the field in defiance of Northwest's first drive. They get to the 7 yard line then get sacked twice, settling for a FG. Northwest's defense needs to get over this plays-poorly-early-in-games thing.

Northwest 7, Cal (PA) 3

Reaper16 12-05-2009 08:25 PM

I'm concerned that Northwest may lose in the semifinals for the first time in school history. Northwest seems to have too many injuries on D to do much against Cal's high-powered offense.

Check out this shit: NW starts moving the ball with ease again but QB Blake Bolles throws an INT in the red zone. Cal eats up 7 minutes and scores a TD. If there is any consolation its that Cal used up all 3 of their timeouts on this one drive.

Cal (PA) 10, Northwest 7. Second quarter.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 08:34 PM

Northwest again moves the ball quickly against Cal's terrible defense. Bolles throws a TD t the incomperable Jake Soy for the second time tonight.

Northwest 14, Cal (PA) 10

Reaper16 12-05-2009 08:45 PM

I post this because Northwest's defense actually forced Cal to punt! Yay!

EDIT: Northwest punted, too. Moot point.

Bearcat 12-05-2009 09:09 PM

Blocked punt, TD Bearcats! PBJ

21-10

Bearcat 12-05-2009 09:11 PM

Hadn't noticed it on the live feed, but NW called a timeout with 7 seconds left to force Cal to punt, and got the block and touchdown return with no time remaining in the half.

Sweet.

Sweet.

Crazy-as-balls. NW blocks a punt and returns it 15 yards with no time left on the clock to end the 1st half up by 11. I feel better about NW's chances in the second half now, especially considering how well Mel Tjeerdsma makes halftime adjustments.

Halftime in Maryville: Northwest 21, Cal (PA) 10

Reaper16 12-05-2009 09:38 PM

Cal (PA) recieves to start the second half, goes 3-and-out off of a sack, and Northwest moves the ball at will in both the passing and runnning games to score another TD.

Northwest 28, Cal (PA) 10

Reaper16 12-05-2009 09:51 PM

Cal's balanced, big-play attack has adjusted to the Bearcat defense. TD, Cal.

Northwest 28, Cal (PA) 17. 8:09 in the 3rd Quarter.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 09:54 PM

BTW -- the game is on CBS College Sports. You can watch a live feed at http://all-access.cbssports.com/play...e=ncaa=157034t

Bearcat 12-05-2009 09:55 PM

Kickoff returned for a TD, some big big plays by the Bearcats... 35-17.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 09:55 PM

Northwest answers that TD immediately: Bearcat Jordan Simmons returns the kickoff 81 yards for the score.

Northwest Missouri 35, Cal (PA) 17.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 09:57 PM

Simmons and Shaw have been significant contributors all year long, and they're only freshmen. Jake Soy, the TD machine, is just a sophomore.

Thanks, I knew it was online, but I've never gotten the Unix version of Silverlight to work with Ubuntu.... the video and audio are basically Windows-only.

I was thinking about rebooting, but NW just got the ball back, so it might be over soon....

Reaper16 12-05-2009 10:04 PM

Northwest hasn't trusted their kicker to make a FG all season. 4th and 3 from Cal's 23? They go for it instead of trying the FG. Bolles throws a TD pass to the indomitable Jake ****ING Soy; Soy's 3rd TD of the game.

Northwest Missouri 42, Cal (PA) 17. 4:36 left in the 3rd Quarter.

Bearcat 12-05-2009 10:04 PM

42-17.... 3 touchdowns in the quarter, and 4 TDs in the last 11 minutes.

Northwest has now outscored their opponents in the 3rd Quarter by -- get this -- 161 to 11.

KCrockaholic 12-05-2009 10:07 PM

Spiller is a frickin monster today! ....can you say top 10 pick? Even with his injury history the guy is amazing.

I don't like RBs in the first but the Chiefs could do a lot worse with a pick in the 8-12 range. Spiller is the kind of playmaker that the Chiefs lack on offense.

I would feel indifferent if we drafted Spiller... But we realllly need a playmaker. I couldn't imagine Charles and Spiller on the same team.

Bearcat 12-05-2009 10:18 PM

49-17

600 miles to Florence, and I kinda want to go.... 5th time's a charm. :(

Reaper16 12-05-2009 10:21 PM

Amazingly, this is only LaRon Council's 1st TD of the night even though he has 153 yards on 17 carries (a YPC of 9.0).

Northwest Missouri 49, Cal (PA) 17. It isn't even the 4th quarter yet but it looks for all the world that Northwest will ne matched up against Grand Valley State for the National Championship for the 3rd time in 5 years.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 10:21 PM

BUT WAIT. There's life in Cal yet. 64 yard TD pass. Poop.

Northwest Missouri 49, Cal (PA) 24

DrRyan 12-05-2009 10:25 PM

Kicking the ball out of bounds on the kickoff?? You have to be ****ing kidding me.

Meh, 56-24.

Reaper16 12-05-2009 10:31 PM

Another rushing TD.

Northwest Missouri 56, Cal (PA) 24. Nearly the whole 4th quarter left.

The Bad Guy 12-05-2009 10:32 PM

Texas is the worst national title contending team of all time.

The Bad Guy 12-05-2009 10:32 PM

I'm also amazed that they reviewed the clock. They run extra seconds off the clock every freaking down. Just complete nonsense.

No, seriously, Cal doesn't want to lose this game. Every time they score my faith that Northwest could actually win next week is eroded.

Northwest Missouri 56, Cal (PA) 31. Like 10 minutes left in the game.

ncCHIEFfan 12-05-2009 10:45 PM

Suh is a beast!

Molitoth 12-05-2009 11:01 PM

Heh another big play by Cal.

Molitoth 12-05-2009 11:04 PM

56-31 BEarcats

Reaper16 12-05-2009 11:10 PM

Final: NW 56, CAl (PA) 31.
Bearcat Stats:
521 yards total offense
LaRon Council -- 20 carries for 216 yards (10.8 YPC, lol) and 1 TD
Backup RBs Billy Creason and Jordan Simmons had 53 and 29 yards respectively (both had a 4.8 YPC). Each had one rushing TD.
Blake Bolles -- 16 for 22, 219 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
Jake Soy -- 4 catches for 48 yards but 3 TD

Stryker 12-06-2009 01:20 AM

DaKCMan AP 12-06-2009 08:22 AM

Everything about the game was awful, starting with those hideous all-white uniforms. The defense played like shit and were tight from the get-go. The offense was as blah as usual but if our D showed up it would have at least been a game. Congrats to Bama, go kick Texas' ass.
