I've watched every ****ing minute of every Chiefs game for more than 30 years. In the past decade alone, not only have I watched every minute of every game, whether it's in my home (with five HDTV's simultaneously recording the Chiefs so there is no interruption if I need to go from room to room), but I've gone out of my way to watch them in Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Montreal, Quebec and San Francisco, not to mention driving around LA when I first arrived looking for a sports bar with more than a few TV's. This post of yours is nothing less than embarrassing. |
Why would I want to watch a 3-9 football team lose another game? If we are putting up a fight I will watch but if we are getting manhandled and are playing like ass I'm not going to watch.
That doesn't make me a fairweather fan. I mean we haven't had a winning record since 2006 (if 9-7 counts) and every offseason I still feel like we can win the Super Bowl. |

I honestly have been bored watching the Broncos this year and have probably only watched 4 full games and the rest of them I have them turned off by halftime. And why should I watch an entire game when I already know what is going to happen? I already know we can't rush the passer. I know that we can't open running lanes. I know we are going to fail on 3rdandanythinglongerthan5yards. I know we are are going to throw a screen pass on 3rd and 10+. ... does that fit? |

You watch every game, regardless of record, because you can't turn away. Record really doesn't matter - it's the love of the franchise. Sure, we ALL wish that the Chiefs could have won three or four Super Bowls this decade (or in the past four decades) but that doesn't keep me from NOT watching. The bottom line is that it's all about FOOTBALL. If you don't understand that, there's nothing anyone can say to convince you. |

LMAO What's "miserable" about watching a football game? Sure, it's a bummer when the Chiefs lose (which has far exceeded wins in the past several years) but it's ****ing SUNDAY and it's FOOTBALL. You're a girl. |

Disgusting. I'm ashamed you're a fan of a team in this division. Go cheer for the Cowboys. We don't want you here. |

Even in 2007, 2008 and 2009 I watched every snap like a hawk because I wanted to see how young players like Bowe were going to develop. Last year every game was interesting because we were trying to see what we had at quarterback. ****, after Charles exploded in Oakland last year, watching the Chiefs became fun just because of him. The Chiefs won eight games in three years and I pored over just about every second of footage. Because they are my team and I love to see what they are doing. I made highlight films for Damon Huard, Tyler Thigpen and three of the worst defenses in Chiefs history. You don't know what it means to be a fan. |

Its about enjoying little victories and watching the team grow week to week. I enjoy this season more than any I can remember because of that. You can never claim to enjoy your team at that level because all you care about is the good and don't want to watch the growing process at all. **** you and everyone that thinks like you. You lost all my respect tonight, congrats. |

Denver's season is over. We aren't making the playoffs and the team quit right after the Oakland loss.

Can we at least add just this one line more?
" And why should I watch an entire game when I already know what is going to happen? " will that work? That line is classic |

Kinda funny. Carl didn't negotiate during the season. Well king douche bag, when you start to assemble a team with leaders and pros you don't have to worry about them being distracted. Pioli And Haley are awesome!

Oh, you don't like it, eh?

Who did McDumbass really develop? Brady? Nope. Cassel, who is only now learning the mechanics of the position? Nope. Orton, who was already developing nicely in Chicago? I don't think so. Quote:

When I joined the Navy, I did everything I could to find a way to watch them as often as I could even though I was nowhere near KC. I've watched every minute of every game possible in spite of the suckage of the team through the late 70s and 80s, in spite of the fact that I hated it when Marty was hired and got almost exactly what I expected from his tenure here, in spite of the fact that I hated that ****her was elevated to HC, in spite of the fact that I hated when we not only hired Dick and Herman ****ing Edwards, but gave up draft picks for the right to do so. Anyone who claims they are a fan of a team, but only actually watch when "their" team is winning is nothing more than a piece fo shit front runner. |

Maybe we should get back to the OP?
Charles in charge! Oh yea, Clark is cheap/CP |

Think of this though, we have signed Charles and DJ, and if we resign Carr and Hali which I bet happens you can't say Clark is cheap even if all of the contracts are reasonable like DJ and Charles contracts. KC will likely be spending a bunch of money the next couple years to keep this core together. |

this season is turning out to be the best chiefs season arguably since marty left...in terms of everything:draft, coaching, players, contracts, record, appearing to have a direction...
just as data points: acquired 2 top coordinators, both of whom have delivered a draft class that produced absurd amount in it's first year a QB who is getting better and has an almost 100 QB rating (regardless of your opinion of him) 8-4 record, 2 game lead in division best players getting better best players getting signed to solid contracts in midseason head coach liked by players and fans head coach that is aggressive and progressive in his approach sense of purpose in most things that happen with franchise.... undefeated in arrowhead whew * edit bizarro 2009 |

...reminds me of the Seattle fans telling me they were sorry we were gonna lose. |
I consider myself "the objective homer" and I predicted 4-5 wins last year and 2-4 wins the year before.
This year I started a thread listing the things we had to do to get to 9 wins and about everyone of them have came to fruition...the one that didnt was Cassel bombing and that, to me anyway, is the BEST part of this year. If Cassel started all of our games we are a legit 11 win team, hopefully Croyle can do the job and lead us to a win or two in his absence. |
erm uh I predicted 4-5 wins last year and 2-4 wins the year before too!!!11!1!11
we're going to need to see that proof Mr. Objective Homer |

If you have time inbetween pissing on other guys and ****ing passed out drunk girls, of course. |
This is also another reason why I said earlier in the season that it was a great idea to have Charles to split time with someone at RB. If he was a full time starter, he would be leading the league in rushing, and probably total yards, and there's no way we would have been able to re-sign him to a contract this team friendly.
This also leaves plenty of dough for our off-season pickup of L. Fitzgerald which I believe is pretty much a foregone conclusion IMO. Bank on it. Fitz is a Chief next season. And we will have the best receiving core in the NFL. Bowe Fitz, and Dex in the slot, are going to make Cassel look all world. JIMP |
