Kid's got a very fluid swing. If he develops an eye, he's going to hit close to .300. Also, he makes plays from places on the field unfamiliar with Shortstops.

I don't think he'd ever come to KC and not because the Royals have been bad the last several years. It all has to do with being around his own kind of people and I'm guessing there isn't a very large japanese presence in KC. There is in Seattle.
