As long as hits above the Mendoza line, I'll deal with it

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:29 PM

WTF Maier. Does that guy even care that he's a fringe player?

Sure-Oz 04-15-2011 08:30 PM

You dive at that shit Bitch Maier

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:30 PM

Maier learned to play LF by watching Manny Ramirez.

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:31 PM

For the record, Escobar's play already saved us a run.

stonedstooge 04-15-2011 08:31 PM

Escobar sure makes his position look easy

It'll come. Isn't this his first go-around in the majors?

One thing for sure, he doens't have alot of MLB experience, and one would assume that he'll get better (hopefully)

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:33 PM

Ichiro is amazing. I have never seen anyone that even comes close to comparing to him.

tk13 04-15-2011 08:33 PM

You guys can brag on Escobar all you want. Who wouldn't rather have Betancourt's .205 AVG/.250 OBP/.273 SLG and great defense right now?

He played in Milwaukee last year

I'd take a flyer on him though, assuming he wants to come to KC. See if the Mariners would take Kila or Aviles....

teedubya 04-15-2011 08:34 PM

Wow...that is a helluva stat for Suzuki...

Coach 04-15-2011 08:34 PM

Goddammit Wood!

Dude, he's young. Enjoy the D.

Mr. Laz 04-15-2011 08:34 PM

dammit, Wood

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:34 PM

Seriously, what's with Blake Wood?

stonedstooge 04-15-2011 08:34 PM

Rose might be comparable to Ichiro

alnorth 04-15-2011 08:35 PM

This Wood is embarassingly soft. We need some solid Adcock.

Mizzou_8541 04-15-2011 08:35 PM

We gotta make it interesting.

Yeah, you're right. For some reason, I was thinking he was more of a September call-up. Didn't think he'd play 145 games.

tk13 04-15-2011 08:36 PM

Oh yeah, and Betancourt also made a throwing error in the 10th tonight that put the eventual losing run on base.

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:36 PM

Escobar's catch saved us at least 2 runs.

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:37 PM

Without that catch, it's 6-4, and the Mariners are batting with 2 outs and a runner on second.

That alone almost made the Greinke trade a win

HE LEAD THE TEAM IN HR'S LAST YR!!!!1111

Mr. Laz 04-15-2011 08:40 PM

did anyone see Bradley gimp right as he caught that ball? You can just feel the "injury" coming, can't ya? LMAO

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:40 PM

Kid's got a very fluid swing. If he develops an eye, he's going to hit close to .300. Also, he makes plays from places on the field unfamiliar with Shortstops.

acesn8s 04-15-2011 08:41 PM

Wood was brought in so that Soria can get save.

stonedstooge 04-15-2011 08:42 PM

NoSullivan is pitching tomorrow?

I don't think he'd ever come to KC and not because the Royals have been bad the last several years. It all has to do with being around his own kind of people and I'm guessing there isn't a very large japanese presence in KC. There is in Seattle.

You can see Japan from Seattle. /Sarah Palin haters

teedubya 04-15-2011 08:44 PM

With jeffers and Escobar playing well, the Grienke trade is already light years better than the Beltran trade.

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:44 PM

God I hate Miller Lite commercials.

BillSelfsTrophycase 04-15-2011 08:45 PM

Nail it down

Saul Good 04-15-2011 08:45 PM

Tiny Tim

alnorth 04-15-2011 08:46 PM

eh, no Adcock tonight, but Collins works too.

tk13 04-15-2011 08:47 PM

I do enjoy how even on MLB gameday everybody is still numbered 42.

alnorth 04-15-2011 08:47 PM

oh, jeez now Soria is warming up. I bet we'd be cruising if Adcock were throwing.

ZootedGranny 04-15-2011 08:48 PM

tk13 04-15-2011 08:50 PM

Sure-Oz 04-15-2011 08:50 PM

This game is ours. Its a rainy night, we've got the 3-run lead, Hoch is rolling and this Seattle pitcher sucks.

Incredible. We magically transformed a 4-run 9th inning lead into a save situation for Soria.

petegz28 04-15-2011 08:51 PM

I'll give Yost this much, when it becomes a save situation he dont **** around and goes straight for the nasty

Dartgod 04-15-2011 08:53 PM

What the **** is going on here?

Mr. Laz 04-15-2011 08:53 PM

Olivo likes the golf shot

Sure-Oz 04-15-2011 08:54 PM

Dartgod 04-15-2011 08:55 PM

Archie F. Swin 04-15-2011 08:55 PM

Tom McClellan....ack!

Mr. Laz 04-15-2011 08:55 PM

I blame AlNorth for this shit.

Coach 04-15-2011 08:56 PM

FINISH HIM!

teedubya 04-15-2011 08:56 PM

Soria is struggling... Let's get this

petegz28 04-15-2011 08:56 PM

Are we seeing the all fastball soria?

Sure-Oz 04-15-2011 08:57 PM

teedubya 04-15-2011 08:58 PM

Where is Soria's slow curve?

petegz28 04-15-2011 08:58 PM

Has he thrown a breaking ball yet?

alnorth 04-15-2011 08:59 PM
