KK just said "there's been a lot of internet chatter about this in the last two days.."
i did a google news search earlier and there was nothing except for the thread on chiefsplanet... he's also implying he has police sources that say the outlines of it are true...he wasn't arrested but there was an incident report |

They're going to ask Haley about it during his 1pm presser.
Like he's going to admit anything.... |

KK also said phobia was the original source and then gave his real name and home address out over the air....

Great job phil, you are now putting yourself in line with Athan. Was becoming a hack what you intended by starting this bullshit?

Hey, Phobia,
One question and I'm asking this for real, not trying to be a smart ass . . . If the KC media picks up on it because of what you've posted here and makes a big stink about it and it turns out your rumor is wrong, where does Todd go to get his reputation back? |
He'll probably say something along the lines of "We're working on minimizing penalties, including holding and illegal use of hands. And that's all I have to say about that...."

The planet will be the first forum to take down an NFL head coach.

What is Phil's newspaper called, the Enquirer?

Everyone that posted in this thread will be fitted for cement shoes

I think Phobia just started something real.

To all of you who are pissed at Phobia -
If the story isn't true, it will go away. What you really are fired up about is that the story might actually be true, and could have a very negative impact on Haley's coaching career and legacy in KC, and you think that somehow maybe it could have never come out. Which would be fine with you because we can't have "The Chosen One" brought down. At least know what it is you are pissed about. |

Phobia was really the only place online to find this info (I tried to corroborate it this morning). Now suddenly it becomes news a week after it happens? Did KK just happen to be in the same bar as Phobia? Or is Phobia actually Kietzmann? In either event - the radio guys out themselves a couple of times a year on these things. They absolutely rip shit off the board on a fair occasion. |
Whitlock used to do it all the time.
|
Well, KK and Phobia are not the same people. I've seen them both drinking a beer, and Phobia wouldn't touch the piss water KK drinks.
|
From Doug Stewart's Twitter:
"There was no arrest...however the police and the Chiefs are both aware of the incident." |
Talking to Rahm Emanuel about how to proceed
-that would be Anthony Weiner |

Phobia should be able to post things he's heard (bullshit or no) without fear of having radio hacks run with it. If it's wrong and the KC Media guys run with it, the blood is on their hands, not Phobia's. All he did was post what he heard to an internet chat board. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. The blame will be on the assholes that go 'national' with it without sourcing it themselves just because they have a microphone in front of them. |

Don't worry about it, Haley. Give the detractors the finger.

Okay, I just joined this forum to partake in this conversation.
Here's my problem with this. If someone told me this story at a bar, I would be damn sure to find out what bar it was. If, then, I were a journalist of sorts and wanted to post about this, and then had 25 pages of people challenging my credibility, I would have called the bar/restaurant to confirm this story. I guarantee the door guy, bartender, waitress, and any number of patrons would all be talking about this at length. You would hear more than just "this girl I was talking to said her friend said..." This would be an actual story. Oh, and whoever said that the NFL is employing a crack-team of ex-CIA super spooks to keep things quiet needs to stop watching television for awhile. I love the idea that there are silent cells of ex-spies employed by Rodger Goodell, just hanging in safe-houses in every NFL city, waiting for a head coach to get in trouble so they can swoop in and silence the witnesses, M.I.B. style. You grossly overestimate the prowess of RETIRED bureaucratic law enforcement professionals, as well as the concern of the NFL over its coaches' and players' reputations |
Doug Stewart molests collies.

As a former journalist, I wouldn't post squat on a bulletin board as potentially damaging both personally and professionally as this without damn sure double-checking my sources and hopefully having talked to said sources myself. Given the proclivity of the KC media to dislike the Chiefs front office, this is like throwing raw meat out in front of a starving guard dog. They're going to rip Haley a new one and for what? A rumor that "someone heard something from somebody and "Hey, has anyone else heard this?" Like I said, if it turns out nothing happened, where does one go to get their reputation untarnished? It'll be brought up from now on, "Sure, X is a great guy, pillar of the community, but I heard . . . . " "Yeah, you'd never think he was like that but . . . " Confirm or don't post. |
