If the story isn't true, it will go away. What you really are fired up about is that the story might actually be true, and could have a very negative impact on Haley's coaching career and legacy in KC, and you think that somehow maybe it could have never come out. Okay, I just joined this forum to partake in this conversation.

Here's my problem with this. If someone told me this story at a bar, I would be damn sure to find out what bar it was. If, then, I were a journalist of sorts and wanted to post about this, and then had 25 pages of people challenging my credibility, I would have called the bar/restaurant to confirm this story.

I guarantee the door guy, bartender, waitress, and any number of patrons would all be talking about this at length. You would hear more than just "this girl I was talking to said her friend said..." This would be an actual story.

Oh, and whoever said that the NFL is employing a crack-team of ex-CIA super spooks to keep things quiet needs to stop watching television for awhile. I love the idea that there are silent cells of ex-spies employed by Rodger Goodell, just hanging in safe-houses in every NFL city, waiting for a head coach to get in trouble so they can swoop in and silence the witnesses, M.I.B. style.
