Does the fact that Broncos are probably now stuck with Tebow for another season cancel out the sting of them winning a playoff game?

IMO, yes. Anybody else?

Every team the patriots have beaten this year have finished the season with .500 record or less. Odd stat.

Mile High Mania 01-14-2012 08:58 PM

There's no sting for me...

They've progressed this year, despite what many will say... I think they have a good core and as long as they build around TT - they need a damn short passing game (TE's, pass catching RBs)...

And, as you can see tonight - A BOATLOAD OF WORK ON THE DEFENSE - again, many will have their fun with TT's issues, but the guy could have had a huge night and still it wouldn't matter.

The Denver defense failed them huge in this first half, the Patriots just have too many big targets and Denver's defense has some tweaking in their near future.

Honestly though, I'm fine... I feared/expected this to be the case.

Well, if you're a denver fan, you gotta tell yourself "they scored 35 in a half, so can we" and bang that gong for as long as you can. Although, last week's aberration aside, you guys don't strike me as a team who can score fast, and I don't know how you stop Brady and friends.

Yeah the play calling has been too conservative all game actually. They didn't make the best of the plays called, but I think our OC got too cutesy with the Option plays when the conventional runs were working.

Funny thing is, unless he turns the ball over a bunch in the 2nd half (which isn't likely to happen if they refuses to throw...) they have the built-in excuse of it all being the defense's fault.

I still contend this season may end up hurting Teebow more than helping. All the mechanics they worked on for two years have gone out the window. He wasn't and still isn't ready to play, and I don't know how they're going to work on it now, after the better part of a season reinforcing ingrained problems.

Flinging it isn't going to accomplish much, I'm afraid. This is going to require some serious intervention stuff. Perhaps they should march around the field 7 times carrying the Ark Of The Pam Spray.
