Scorched Tundra VI was totally lit last weekend. I thought Beastmaker was a highlight.

I caught Disrotted at a matinee yesterday in some rando basement. Heavy, heavy, set. 3-piece sans bass. Obscenely loud for my old man ears.

Wow, that's pretty incredible. I know they're scheduled to play a show here next month. I was debating whether to go since it's on a Thursday night, but I might have to make an exception if dude is playing in casts.

Next Disrotted show. They're collaborating their set with Clotting, which is a one man, all electronic, industrial/harsh noise performer. Not really my thing, but it'll be interesting to see what they come up with together.

Fistula is a beast though and I'm stoked to see them with Disrotted.

The new Elder album is SOOOOO good.

If you've ever considered a weekend trip to Chicago, this year's Scorched Tundra has been announced. Acid King jumps out. Fistula jumps out (to me). Bottomed is a dark noise project from one of the Bongripper dudes. One of my favorite fests of the year.
