Yep. That's the most stunning aspect of this entire fiasco, to me.

Crennel is probably giving it everything he's got because he doesn't want to fail again. Unfortunately, the wheels are off and he honestly doesn't seem to know what is wrong ... let alone, how to correct it. In his post-game presser, he said he thought the team was well-prepared and didn't expect this kind of performance. He's been here long enough to know these players and it's odd that he misread the situation to that extent.

I almost feel sorry for the guy.

I feel that he needs to get back to the basics. Quit with the cute schemes and packages because the players clearly aren't up to it.

1. Stop taking Dorsey and Jackson out on passing downs. Rapatoi (or whatever his name is) and Poe aren't getting any pressure any damn way and are getting out of position and allowing these immobile QB's to run all over them when the coverage is good downfield.

2. Play Berry at Safety where he belongs. Stop trying to turn him into Troy Polamalu and let him be what he is; Ed Reed.

3. I don't know what he has to do, but he needs to fix DJ. Too many blown assignments.

4. Figure out a way to fire this team up. They looked soft and unmotivated both weeks. This team seems to be lacking passion & effort.
