Kcchiefs.com just announced that next week will be the unveiling of KC's first ever alternate home jersey. The color? Black. They will be handing out t-shirts to those attending the game to commemorate the event.

I doubt they could get away with that but it might be a good idea to cover the seat that you have a ticket for. Even if you're wearing black, the orange seat will still stand out. The seat color is actually still visible even if you're sitting down and even more so if you stand up. Might help with the visual effect, just a thought??

Cool. By the way, I have three tickets, lower level around the 35 yard line on the home sideline. I cannot find anybody willing and able to go. This has never happened. I may actually go and sit in the middle of three empty seats. Nice to have the elbow room, but somehow feels kinda pathetic.

If anybody feels sorry for me or just wants to upgrade seats please send a PM. I'm trying to get something for them if I can, but if I can't I still want somebody sitting in them wearing black. Black attire is a non-negotiable requirement.

I just noticed this FB post from one of a group of 4 ladies who were STHs in the past but haven't been to a game all year. A couple weeks ago she stated "Why would I go to a Chiefs game, they suck".

I'm not going to the game but the Mrs and I will be in black to support the cause.

I predict any one who doesn't wear black to the game will wish they had by end of second quarter.
