I felt like Hopkins was a bit of a reach that early but Minter in the next round would've made up for it. Oh well, I still like my Ogletree/Williams duo. That's a hell of an infusion to the middle of that defense. |

But yes, he was going to be the pick. |
The San Fransisco 49ers select Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
The best player available on their board - plus, hey Frank Gore isn't a spring chicken. |

Okay, so who should I send my picks lists to?
I'm going to try to get access over the fishing trip, but if I can't you guys shouldn't need to wait on me. And if my picks get cleaned out, do you fellas have a proxy you want me to give my teams to for the weekend? I'd have loved to have gotten through the 3rd today, but that's pretty clearly not going to happen. |

JFC. I have shit to do this afternoon. We should be halfway through the 3rd round by now. **** you, Marco.
I'm PMing my pick. Will talk about it later. |

**** you Boss you stole my pick.
Ravens are going to have to replace Anquan Boldin. Mr. Boardwalk selects Markus Wheaton WR Oregon State |
SNR PM'd me his Chiefs pick.
The Kansas City Chiefs select Barrett Jones, OL, Alabama |
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee

Stephen Peterman was handed his walking papers. Godser Cherilus is a Colt was allowed to walk in FA. The right side of the Lions offensive line was terrible. B. Jones would have been a nice pick who could have been a RG as a rookie and replaced D. Raiola @ C next year. The Detroit Lions with the third pick of the third round select Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff. This player could fill one of the voids on the right side of their OL.
|
Armstead was in the running for the Cowboys pick. It sucks going all true fan on the Boys.
|
Well we got Barkley, the best quarterback in the draft, now he needs somebody to throw the ball to. Raiders are lucky one of the best receivers slipped to the third.
Oakland Raiders select Terrence Williams, WR, Baylor. |

A lot of places you could go with this pick. The upside is that you're protected no matter what happens with Hudson. LT: Albert, Stephenson LG: Jones, Schwartz C: Hudson, Jones RG: Asamoah, Schwartz RT: Allen, Stephenson All kinds of formations. You'd also be giving our roster a fifth player with tackle experience. |
Just a ****ing run on players I had lined up for the Eagles. Amerson, Jesse Williams, I was even going with Minter if he fell. Give me a minute. I'll have my pick within 10.
|
There's just so many pieces Philadelphia needs to rebuild their defense. I had some guys I really wanted to get my hands on, and thought they were all gone. Then I discovered one remained that had some real value at this pick.
The Philadelphia Eagles select Jordan Poyer CB from Oregon State University This kid has some work to do, but has a very high ceiling and plays really well on the ball. I think he's probably a good mix of what this team needs with value at this selection. |
Dick.

The moment of truth is fast upon us, Mr. Marco.

Ideally you would have Schwartz as the starting RT, which leaves Allen as the LG. I'm not too comfortable with that, to be honest. Barrett Jones was the BPA. He has this reputation of being maxed out, but I don't believe that at all. He has Bruce Matthews-type potential, and I'm not just saying that because he can play anything. At the very least our offensive line is good to go provided Albert doesn't get traded. |
**** I typed out a long write up and it didn't send.
Anyway I've been waiting to pick this guy. He's my favorite player in the draft and would have been a first round pick if he would have just stayed home and played monopoly in college. Cleveland Browns select Da'Rick Rogers Tennessee Tech |
You're going to have to toughen up, if you want to play for an elite organization like the Cardinals:
Darius Slay, CB, Mississippi State |
Try again

Pest, you reaching mother****er. Hope you didn't take this guy at #2 overall:
Justin Pugh, G, Syracuse |
Hold on here.
Deez needs to repick...Slay has already been taken. Delete the post with your pick on it, Marco. |
Nevermind

The Buffalo Bills have had absolutely nothing at receiver and that's a shame because their running game could really do some things if they could stretch the field. Therefore, I have decided to double dip at receiver and snag another talent I think is a fantastic value at this point.
In the third round of the CP Mock, the Buffalo Bills select Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia I really like the Bills defense and running game and I think my first three picks for them can really spruce things up with their passing game. Tavon Austin Mike Glennon Stedman Bailey |
Damn I forgot about Rambo
Edit: And to mention Monopoly |
Did someone pm deez?

Holy ****! the guy I was going to select was drafted in the mid 2nd round.
|
Alright, I had to put some serious thought into this pick. I thought about reaching for a couple of guys that I really like that I don't think will be there by the next round, but ultimately I decided to take a guy that has some learning to do. He has just ****ing perfect size and strength, and could turn into a monster at the next level.
The Pittsburgh Steelers select Jamie Collins OLB Southern Miss |
Hey, remember when I had a pick?
Man, those were good days. |
Through 2 1/2 rounds, who is winning this mock? What picks do you particularly like? And who is a reaching mother****er?
Also, players whom you'd really like to see with the Chiefs to this point? |
I really like what Sorter and Sfeihc have done. SNR is also doing well.
|
DJ is really killing it too.
|
Quote:
Really like the third round pick of Jones, and I would pencil him at center. Kick Hudson over to LG, and line Swartz at RG. Let Allen and Stephonson battle for the RT spot. |
DJ's doing his best to make these true fan picks seem exciting, and doing a good job. He's got a good thing going.
This comp 3rd and 4th round pick for the Chiefs could be ultra sexy. My board's lining up really well right now :) |

There is an offensive lineman I would like to take for the Cowboys right here and can be a difference maker but I'm going to play poker for now with him.
Dallas Cowboys select Tony Jefferson, S, Oklahoma |
Also while DaKC is having an awesome cruise to keep this running quickly and without having to find somebody on the fly - I'll just take over his Miami picks and Pest can take his Cincy picks till he gets back next weekend.
|
The New York Giants select Jon Bostic, LB Florida
|
Quote:
|
Well he wanted this pick earlier until he changed his mind, so he gets it here:
Miami Dolphins select Sio Moore, LB, Connecticut |
There goes the Chiefs pick. Nice one, Sorter. It was probably a pipedream thinking that Bostic would be available, but ehh

Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, this here draft is won. The Minnesota Vikings with their third round selection select Aaron Dobson, WR Marshall.
|
Vaccaro, Okafor and Bostic?
Wow the Giants are raping this draft. Good job Sorter. |
