Feeding the hungry is a noble thing in life. But it's not really that common in re-alignment talks.

So basically nobody is knocking down the Big XII's door looking for an invite to the conference. Pretty much what everyone figured.

Kansas has the best basketball team in the country. It's not even close.

Interesting fact: Towson is rated 37 places above Kansas in the Sagarin CFB ratings.

No we don't, it's really early. Louisville looks like a legit threat like usual, Duke could potentially beat us again if we re-played it and Kentucky is still the betting favorite. We've had the best team in college basketball only one time in my life.

An SEC team played in 11 of the 20 highest-rated games in 2013.

B1G: 5 games.
ACC: 4 games.
Pac12: 2 games.
Big12: 0 games.

Pitt Gorilla 11-23-2013 12:54 AM

Mizzou volleyball wins SEC title and is still undefeated (32-0).

Awesome. Love great volleyball.

My daughter actually played against one of their now freshman middles (I think) last year in club season. The Mizzou girl did a slide hit and cracked a girl straight in the face with her hit, concussing her at the tournament. Wicked, wicked shot. I don't think I've ever seen a harder hit live and in person.

Sounds like Mizzou will be bringing around 10,000 fans to Oxford today. Black and gold all over Memphis and Tunica last night.

Seeing as how the MU volleyball team just won the SEC and KU is basically still in preseason form? Yeah, for one single post, sure it is.

Bowser 11-23-2013 01:04 PM

Hell Bitch, you've brought five fold the attention to Missouri's volleyball team more than that one post and my reply would have. Nice job dummy.

Ok, so you would agree KU's national title this year in track & field is more relevant than Mizzou football which, of course has not yet made it to postseason. You'd agree right?

Of course it is. KU won the National Championship in track & field.

MU football hasn't even defeated a ranked team.

Oh, and you're being dishonest about us not beating a ranked team. But you know that.

now. I can't get too worked up about teams and their preseason ranking.

Florida was ranked but they've been discovered to be truly terrible.

Georgia was a good win but also currently not ranked.

Tonight is a chance though.

It was a trick question. Nobody cares what they're ranked now.

Saul Good 11-23-2013 03:47 PM

During the Ohio State game, Kansas was the answer to the trivia question. Nebraska has beaten them 91 times...the most times one team has beaten another in college football history.

How is tonight different? If we win, they likely won't be ranked any longer.

Eh, Cy Young has the most losses in the history of baseball.

When you play the game for so long statistical anomalies happen.

Hey reerun, we have beat two ranked teams this year, at the time we played they were ranked. When you win a game in football it hurts the other team's record, hence their ranking.

WilliamTheIrish 11-23-2013 04:03 PM

I think that trivia question is wrong. Partly. With today's loss KSU had lost to OU 91 times.

LOL.....you are correct I did look at that particular post. My bad...I peeked at the post. But I do have he and PB on ignore. But no differently than anyone (including you I am sure) everyone once in a while I peek at ignored.

So no.....you didn't "out" me as a liar. But nice try.....

And as the answer to your question...you can't compare those 2. Cy Young was a great pitcher who lost many games because he pitched more than most.
KU football is a pathetic program and their losses are from being a poor program....nothing great about them. Now...if you want to compare KU BB losing more games than most because they play more you have a better shot at not looking stupid.

To use your words....being wrong is not breaking news when it comes to you either.

I cannot even imagine OU or Texas being 4-7 and losing to an FCS team at home. I don't know how rabid Florida's fan base is but if Mack Brown was someone's first ever FBS win he'd be gone after the game. Out-gained 427-225 or something- all in the ground with zero passing yards????? A new low!

Eleazar 11-24-2013 12:10 AM

WM has never had tons of support, but administration just came out last week backing him. This ought to be a game changer, though. If the team has quit it's your fault. Cupboard left bare or not.

Prison Bitch 11-24-2013 12:17 AM

He sure seems like he's pulling a Lane Kiffin down there. USC fired that clown the second he landed coming back from Tempe. Muschamp has to be fired to tonight for the most humiliating loss in years in D1 football.

I'm hoping Mizzou beats A&M this weekend so they can put themselves in a position for the SEC to choose. Of course, most Mizzou brains are so far gone at this point they probably won't even be able to tell the irony of such a situation gone bad.

So you think there might be a scenario in which a team we beat gets a higher bowl slot than us? Care to explain how this might come to pass?
