I remember a game at Arrowhead that was a 50/50 crowd. That was a bad Chiefs team though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

How many tickets were available?
|
Quote:
I'm sure a lot will purchased by Steelers fans, but I don't think that's what that run was ... yet. |

There are around 250 left now. That's straight from the Chiefs website, keep in mind there are a LOT of tickets on the secondary market for Steelers fans to buy. There are over 10,000 on StubHub alone. |
Quote:
2016: 59% completion, 9 TD/8INT, QB rating 78 (117 at home). 2015: 70% completion, 5TD/9INT, QB rating 86 (102 at home) . Now factor in his sprained right ankle which he needs to plant his foot. |

I don't want to hear about "hope" that Ben is injured. I want them to come into Arrowhead and I want to beat the **** out of them straight up. If we can't do it then we shouldn't be moving on. Provided we can hold up in the defensive backfield for just a beat or two we'll get to him on the front end if Houston and Ford and Hali are all bringing full tanks. I have little doubt about that.
On offense we have the engines to score. We just need Andy to scheme to our strengths and the O-Line to protect Alex and give him the time to go deep a couple times per quarter. Don't let Pittsburgh crowd the line. Use mis-direction. And don't play waiting for them to give us an opening. We need to step on throats and not let up until the game is done. Part one of the revenge tour begins this Sunday... |

Miami missed a couple of big chances to be in the game today.
I think we will be ok. |
Best case scenario is Houston jumps straight over the LOS and with one swipe of his mighty hand completely rips Bens head clean off as the Arrowhead Crowd roars with excitement. The rest of the defense feast on the body and of course score a touchdown too. Chiefs 33 Steelers 14.

Pittsburgh is playing good defense lately. "They suck on D" may not be all we need

A bye earned by playing a ridiculously difficult schedule. |
I have $100 on KC straight up.

So now people are worried about steeler fans at arrowhead?

Knock the crap out of Bell. Stop him and we will win.

I can get the chiefs at -1.... WHAT DO I DO LOL

No Broncos, Giants, Chargers, Vikings, Bengals or Texans
The best remaining pass defenses are the Chiefs, followed by Pats/Seahawks |

Just contain Bell with the corners playing man and Berry as your single high safety. |

Not that anybody neeeded to know, but exactly 23 years ago today we beat the Steelers in that last home playoff win.
Then, on to Houston.... |

Should be a good game... PIT is on a roll, but @ Arrowhead with that defense, going to be a tough one.

The guys that need to bring it are our replacement ILBs. If they aren't on their game, Bell will run roughshod through the secondary.

Our only shot was to buy all the tickets after the San Diego game. We left a lot of them left for Steelers fans to gobble up, and now it's probably going to be 30% black and yellow on Sunday |

I like our chances. KC will be prepared. The D is going to bring the heat.

Two things;
Pitt beat Miami much the same way they beat us, bang in the mouth to open and limp to the finish line. Come to think of it, it's a lot like how we won a lot of our games. Outside the 14 points in the opening minutes, they were a very beatable team. Those first two strikes covered a multitude of ills. Bell, for the productive runner he is, is the hesitating-ist, stand straight-uppist, runner in a long time. Commentators tried to liken him to Marcus Allen, but while Marcus would be patient behind the line, when he found a hole he burrowed into it. Bell somehow gets away with practically standing behind the line until something opens, then skitters more than burrows to the second-level. This is where missing DJ will hurt the most. We need a gunner to ferret him out every time he pauses for a lane to open up |

Can't post the link but, James Harrison just added fuel to the fire by his "We played them this year? Didn't know" quote. I say we get that bad taste out of our mouth and draw blood this Sunday!

March is an unknown but could be huge for our defense, but he could also be JAG or even bad.
