If you were waiting to buy a low row upper level seat, you missed your shot.

Only thing left are high in the upper corners. A LOT of tickets sold in the last 2 hours.

Yep, I was monitoring that as well. Fortunately I landed my ticket.

I remember a game at Arrowhead that was a 50/50 crowd. That was a bad Chiefs team though.

It looks like he was only involved in two tackles against the Chiefs, so I can see why he wouldn't remember. He didn't do anything.

Tickets held in reserve for the visiting team are never released to begin with - at least not until the day before the game when any unused tickets are returned to the home team.

I think it was brokers. At the same time the original tickets came off the board, the Ticket Exchange resell tickets jumped from 3,000 for sale to 6,000 for sale. Looks like they were bought to resell.

I'm sure a lot will purchased by Steelers fans, but I don't think that's what that run was ... yet.

There are around 250 left now.

That's straight from the Chiefs website, keep in mind there are a LOT of tickets on the secondary market for Steelers fans to buy.

There are over 10,000 on StubHub alone.

True.
2016: 59% completion, 9 TD/8INT, QB rating 78 (117 at home).
2015: 70% completion, 5TD/9INT, QB rating 86 (102 at home) .

Now factor in his sprained right ankle which he needs to plant his foot.

RINGLEADER 01-08-2017 06:38 PM

I don't want to hear about "hope" that Ben is injured. I want them to come into Arrowhead and I want to beat the **** out of them straight up. If we can't do it then we shouldn't be moving on. Provided we can hold up in the defensive backfield for just a beat or two we'll get to him on the front end if Houston and Ford and Hali are all bringing full tanks. I have little doubt about that.

On offense we have the engines to score. We just need Andy to scheme to our strengths and the O-Line to protect Alex and give him the time to go deep a couple times per quarter. Don't let Pittsburgh crowd the line. Use mis-direction. And don't play waiting for them to give us an opening. We need to step on throats and not let up until the game is done.

Part one of the revenge tour begins this Sunday...

I'd be fine with him coming in with a broken tibia! Knowing that they'll prolly headhunt and cheap-shot every good player we have in the first quarter, and we prolly won't reciprocate, we need them as banged-up as possible.

TheUte 01-08-2017 06:46 PM

Miami missed a couple of big chances to be in the game today.
I think we will be ok.

arrwheader 01-08-2017 06:49 PM

Best case scenario is Houston jumps straight over the LOS and with one swipe of his mighty hand completely rips Bens head clean off as the Arrowhead Crowd roars with excitement. The rest of the defense feast on the body and of course score a touchdown too. Chiefs 33 Steelers 14.

We're not the same team on offense either. And we'll be at home, rested after a bye.

A bye earned by playing a ridiculously difficult schedule.

Steelers on the road with the crowd noise and Ben with a banged up right ankle. I REALLY like our chances.

Just contain Bell with the corners playing man and Berry as your single high safety.

The picture Dane posted looked pretty bad, actually. Even if it's just a grade 1 ankle sprain that can't feel good playing on in the cold. Could throw a bunch of errant balls trying to push off that plant foot.

I don't know where you're getting your bad information, but according to NFL.com:

Texans - 2nd

Seahawks - 8th

Patriots - 12th

Steelers - 16th

Chiefs - 18th

So we're 5th out of 8 remaining teams.

It probably ain't going to be the sea of red like we're used to.

Our only shot was to buy all the tickets after the San Diego game. We left a lot of them left for Steelers fans to gobble up, and now it's probably going to be 30% black and yellow on Sunday

Well, its going to be what its going to be. Pretty much every time the Steelers come to Arrowhead they look intimidating. Just have to ignore that. They do that to a lot of stadiums. its not just an Arrowhead thing.

Baby Lee 01-08-2017 08:09 PM

Two things;

Pitt beat Miami much the same way they beat us, bang in the mouth to open and limp to the finish line. Come to think of it, it's a lot like how we won a lot of our games. Outside the 14 points in the opening minutes, they were a very beatable team. Those first two strikes covered a multitude of ills.

Bell, for the productive runner he is, is the hesitating-ist, stand straight-uppist, runner in a long time. Commentators tried to liken him to Marcus Allen, but while Marcus would be patient behind the line, when he found a hole he burrowed into it. Bell somehow gets away with practically standing behind the line until something opens, then skitters more than burrows to the second-level. This is where missing DJ will hurt the most. We need a gunner to ferret him out every time he pauses for a lane to open up

Methinks Dirty Dan will be in the box a lot to cover Bell out of the backfield and if Bell splits wide, Parker will draw him.
