I can’t imagine building my day around watching a woman’s sporting event. You gotta be able to dunk for that kinda dedication. If my daughter wants to play sports sure I’ll go and be supportive but you aren’t gonna catch me staying up late to catch the WNBA championship or something

I was happy to see them lose. It was a very entertaining second half

Man the Mizzou BOC aka KU alumnists really outdid themselves this year.

Was watching UH... Looks like Ohio St. did play well, but came up a bit short.

TEX 03-15-2024 07:52 PM

Baylor needs to hit their shots when they get them, or they don't stand a chance against Iowa St.

Pablo 03-15-2024 08:49 PM

53 for Nebraska is very queer

Never thought I'd see the day where Nebraska was better than KU in basketball but here we are. Didn't even need to be investigated by the FBI to do it either

You guys win one game in the tourney and I bet Burrito Bill will send the blonde con a pair of his freshly sharted undies to sniff on.

It'll be the closest nebrasketball ever gets to greatness

Pablo 03-16-2024 03:03 PM

Up 11 at half though against a pretty good Illinois team so I can't hate too much on that effort.

True, but KU will be healthy next year and they'll be back. They have a winning culture.
Nebraska has been a fun team to watch this year.

Pablo 03-16-2024 04:34 PM

Over the last decade corn basketball is a more successful program than their football team. This is why they're a basketball school now so I get it.

145-176 in nebrasketball for 45% win pct (can only go higher when they get their 1st tourney win!!!)
52-67 in football for 43% win pct

I dunno but apparently having the best defense in 40 years doesn't matter much if you can't score

Seems like the conference is soft as **** this year, and Iowa State might actually be the exception. Houston didn't even have to play anyone until January and they were soft as **** in Lawrence... traded off by KU being soft as **** in Houston. Then Houston just like doesn't even bother in the 2nd half today, I guess?

The Chiefs' March has been more exciting than KU's... yikes.

rfaulk34 03-16-2024 09:03 PM

18 out of the top 20 teams in the final poll have lost their most recent game and only 2 more have a chance to win. Best case scenario is that only 4 of the top 20 teams are going into the tournament with a win in their last game.

March Madness indeed.

BWillie 03-16-2024 11:06 PM

College basketball is a secondary sport one in which Nebraska is now better at than KU. They'll also be better at football this year than KU who is relying on a QB who can't stay healthy for more than 5 games and now has no home stadium to play in

Hell of an Ivy League championship game. Brown blew it against Yale. I was slightly interested in it since it's fairly possible KU could get the winner in the first round.

Brown hadn't been to the NCAA Tournament since 1986 and only one other time before then which was the first tournament ever in 1939. Sad for them. Those fans really thought they had it.

Just looked at corn's football schedule and I see 5-7 yet again for them. Just the way she goes.

KU is minimum 8-4 next year.

Tough draw for corn.

TAMU is just better than them w/o question and if they make it thru then Houston gets to sodomize them vigorously after.

This is a reminder that conference tournaments mean jack shit unless you’re a team who is nowhere near the bubble and steals a bid by winning the conference tournament.

Its sickening that the conference tournament champions get the auto bid and not the regular season champ, at least at the mid major level.

Conferences can choose to send either the regular season season champ or the tourney champ. It is not mandated by the NCAA.

And it's ridiculous. Reward the team who busted their ass for 14 to 18 games or the team who wins the cute little 3 game tournament?
