Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, Clemson and Kansas State.

Braden Smith is my guy if he wants more money, but Pack is still a good option.

Big time scorer and shooter with experience. Really nice fit next to Peterson.

Gotta give Bidunga spacing. Especially if White starts at the 3.

Hasn't Pack played 5 years in college already

Yep. One was COVID year (20-21), and this past season he only played a handful of games. So the assumption is that he's regaining this past season's eligibility with an additional medical redshirt year.

Strange that KSU is on his list. I mean, why did he leave there in the first place?

Would be hilarious if KU got him. Boy, that would piss off the Kitties.

Vernon reporting that Dickinson gave up over $100K last year so KU could get Storr.

That didn't work out for various reasons outside of his control, but the guy is a Jayhawk for life in my books.

Good size. Really good rebounder. Decent and improving outside shooter. 80% from the line.

I never would have imagined Clemence would have went to another P5 conference.

He should have went to a mid major where he could have gotten a significant amount of playing time!

Will probably have more bench time at A&M.

Tyran Stokes is visiting this week. He’s rumored to be a possibility to reclassify.

A trio of Peterson, Stokes, and Bidunga makes things very different.

I’m sure it’s unlikely, but I can imagine.

28% from 3 for his career against what I assume is poor competition.

I can’t get too excited about it.

After stockpiling the roster with shooters last year, I'm okay with a guy who can defend, and dribble and get to the basket.

If he can get to the basket then he is AWFUL at drawing fouls. Over 37 mpg and 2.1 FTA per game.

He better be Marcus Garrett to Kevin McCullar defender.

Oh no...

Oh no no no.

I don't understand why it is anyones business that a school or NCAA has to do anything. It's a choice to go to college. They should be able to do whatever they want and enforce rules as they see fit. If they wanna pay kids if they dont. If they wanna allow 10 years in school or if they don't.

What is next? Can't make little Johnny leave high school in 4 years. He has to be able to stay 8. Not fair! Parents are purchasing tickets to high school football games and the coaches are paid! Exploitation! Every child should be paid for playing a game. Think of the children. High school kids are on ESPN in basketballs. I feel so bad for them they are exploited!

I feel like this is a no brainer. DP looks more polished, and more smooth than Dybantsa.

I stumbled across a TikTok of him mic'ed up and he seems like a clown.

He reminds me of Wiggins as far as raw athleticism.

DP looks like he could play in the league tomorrow.

The team that lost to Stanford because Embiid didn't play?

Had Embiid been healthy, that team makes a run.

He was starting to establish himself as the best talent in the country and that was a super weak tourney field.

A healthy Embiid really changes the NBA.

He easily goes number 1 to Cleveland. LeBron returns to Cleveland to play with Embiid and Kyrie.

That would’ve been something.

The Wiggins hype was so built up over the period of nearly a half decade that I'm not sure anything knocks him off that spot, but I was telling anybody who would listen back in 2013 that Embiid was the best prospect in that draft from about December on. I suppose it's possible.

Maybe but that wasn't a very good team at least based on KU standards.

But after the last two years I guess it would feel great.

He was definitely the better prospect but he wasn't that good in college. Probably a Top 40 guy in college that one year.

They were 7th in the country in KenPom that year and Embiid didn't play for the final month. They could have won it all.

Disagree. Embiid's defense already put him much higher than that by January. He's a generational defensive player in basketball history when healthy.

Had Embiid dominated that tourney en route to a title, he goes 1/1.

Just look how helpless George Niang looked against him.

The evolution of Embiid from his first game or two to how he was playing in January is the fastest I've ever seen a player improve. Embiid was by far the best player on the court every time he was out there before his injury. I recall a team just went out with what seemed like intent to injure Embiid and shoved him in the back and nearly tackled him all game. Fkers robbed us of more Embiid that year.

If Conner hit that third three in a row they win and he probably stays at Kansas. Maybe.

Conner was so weird with how accurate he was at 3 but only off the dribble

I could see these two having a Wiggins-Embiid type impact.

Not too many teams have a duo of that talent level.

Now add Tyran Stokes like a Darrell Arthur and baby you got a stew goin

3 lottery picks on 1 team with 2 top 5 picks?

Yeah, sign me up. The rest is filler and good enough to win it all.

Apparently Dybantsa is quite the douche on the court and our guy isn't. So that's nice to know.

Man, I miss the old days when we'd have him for 3 seasons. 3 chances at a Natty.

But, its been awhile since we had the #1 player. After the shitshow of last year. I'm ready to see some brilliant play with these horses. Self has to bring another championship home or at least make a final 4.

This is a myth. He showed and oozed insane potential from day one. In fact, go look at the game logs. He had some of the best games early in the season.

Kiimo 04-19-2025 11:42 AM

i think it was clear to anyone paying attention that he was improving every game by alarming amounts. Faster than I saw anybody else in my life

Nope. He was great by day 1. But this idea is folklore among KU fans. He was probably the most consistent player on the team that year. Look at the game log. Only difference is he saw a little more minutes later in the year. He was arguably even better early in the year because he was fresher.
