Welp, not a whole lot of games so far this year we haven't been in. That's a HUGE difference from last year

teedubya 04-20-2013 03:05 PM

Hosmer is about worthless. That's all I'm gonna say. Chokesmer.

Hooray for moral victories! We are now 3-4 in one run games. That's about normal except the fact most of those should not have been one run games.

Al Bundy 04-20-2013 03:06 PM

This one was frustrating alright.

I'ma usually one of the last one's to hang on with the Royals late into the season. I can't go negative yet

MeatRock 04-20-2013 03:10 PM

I'm not feeling negative about the Royals just yet. Our hitting and our bullpen need to get their shit together though or sub 500 is on it's way. I won't feel negative unless we get swept by Detroit.

**** Neil diamonds off pitch old ass

lol

**** Boston too

MeatRock 04-20-2013 03:14 PM

I am getting pissed about losing leads in the 8th and 9th though. That's some bullshit.

Its not easy for anyone, IIRC double header sweeps happen at a 25% clip.

I wonder how much of an effect the new hitting coach has on this. I was hoping last year they'd give Seitzer a chance at managing the team when "Our Time" didn't pan out. Ned probably saved his job by having the 12 game losing streak early, thus reducing the expectations of all the fans. Seitzer had a firey attitude which I think is needed when dealing with a young team

Hos and Moose are supposed to be blue chip players, not cow chip players.

The Royals are 5th in the American league in hitting. The hitting isn't the problem. Scoring is the problem. I really think the Royals problem is that their lineup is messed up. We'd score more runs if the auto outs were clustered together at the bottom of the lineup instead of spaced out every other hitter.

Nightfyre 04-20-2013 03:23 PM

The Royals aren't getting productive hits. They need some power. Period. That is how you win.

It's easy for every team that plays the Royals. They generally lose both games most of the time.

stonedstooge 04-20-2013 03:29 PM

Sept. of 2008 the Royals swept the Indians in Cleveland. The last doubleheader sweep I found
