THAT'S THE WORST MOVE HE'S EVER MADE. PITCHERS SPOT IS DUE #2 NEXT INNING. LET THAT SPOT ROLL AROUND AND PH WITH SOMEONE LIKE BELLY OR WILLY, REPLACE HERRERA WITH DAVIS LIKE IT SHOULD BE ANYWAY.

INSTEAD YOU DOUBLE SWITCH IN JASON ****ING NIX, HERRERA GIVES UP TWO HITS AND DAVIS COMES IN ANYWAY. IF YOU WERE GOING TO USE DAVIS THAT PITCHERS SPOT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PH FOR AND YOU START THE INNING WITH DAVIS!

YOU ****ING LOSER!

Hate to say it, but keeping Vargas in too long last night when the entire viewing audience knew he needed to come out was a series-losing decision by Ned. The idiotic double-switch tonight was the cherry on top of the shit sundae. Realistically, there was only so many times this team could win in spite of their reeruned manager before his luck finally ran out.

The good news is that the Royals are theoretically primed for more runs at the World Series if they can keep this team together... the bad news is that making it to the World Series this year buys Yost more time when he really should be fired after the season's over. He's just too dumb to win a championship. I hope I'm wrong and that the Royals come back and win it all, but I don't think I will be.

Has anybody figured out why this guy is in the big leagues, on the team, or on the active roster instead of Colon yet?

Nobody knows. Ned and Dayton think they know, though

The series isn't over. I'll never understand the loser mentality of this board. Ventura is pitching against peavy. One should expect a win.

Go back one more game.... He did the same stupid shit with Guthrie.

He's either playing with fire or as crazy as some make him out to be. Either way I tolerate it MUCH better when I listen to the radio over watching it on screen.

It could've been, but I really don't think so. I think Yost has made a couple questionable decisions, but they have tagged every single pitcher that's come out of the bullpen the last two days. And people wanted to go to the bullpen earlier. It doesn't matter. They just flat beat us. Players have to execute.

1n 1985 the Royals were down 3-2. Did they quit **** no. Royals are winning this in game 7 book it now

Lex Luthor 10-26-2014 09:48 PM

For the last couple of months I've been defending Ned Yost like he was my brother.

But goddamn, he's really pissed me off the last 2 days.

Al Bundy 10-26-2014 09:48 PM

Yost didn't lose this game.. like I told Lew in the game thread the Royals had to pitch a shut out to win tonight and hope it went 11. You weren't touch Madison Bumgarner tonight, the Royals players knew it.

You're right - we really had very little chance against Bumgarner.

Doesn't make the double switch any less idiotic though.

Ned has to put our players in the best position to try and get the win. He didn't do that tonight.

Why? They were totally demolished 16-4

This is 110% on the players

Jerm 10-26-2014 09:52 PM

The decision to concede a run in the first was just as goddamn stupid IMO.....

penbrook 10-26-2014 09:52 PM

Good thing is Bumgarner will probably pitch Game 7 on short rest
