MLB Pipeline @MLBPipeline 29m Bad: @Cardinals Taveras left @memphisredbirds game w/ ankle injury last night. Good: Was L, not surgically repaired R. Also, appeared minor. |
I'd like to see the Cardinals make a move for a guy like Eric Chavez. He could start against the occasional RH at third, he's got some pop, and he's also a semi-competent bench bat, unlike Descalso.

Radio just doesn't do it justice.
I'm buying Extra Innings next month. |
Albert with jack #500 tonight.
Congrats old pal. |
Offense is still anemic as hell.

We need to look at how the players prepare for hitting in spring training next year. They are all taking bad at bats. Look unprepared, like they are still trying to figure out their swing. They are guessing and usually poorly. |
If anyone were interested, I'd move Craig to make room for someone if you're determined to bring one of those guys up.
I tend to think he's peaked as a hitter and won't ever be that 25 HR guy the Cards need him to be. |
I just don't understand pulling Wainwright here unless he is hurt.

We need PGM to tell us this offense will be fine.

Te offense will eventually get going, to many guys who have hit before aren't hitting now.
They didn't just forget how to hit I don't think. That said, as mentioned, you can't rely on barisp to be what it was. |
At some point Matheny has to realize that Descalso and Robinson off the bench to PH is not going to cut it.
