Wait, another QB from the past has been located who fits DaneMcVagina's definition of a "franchise QB"... which he/she/it defines as a starting QB on a team with "successive winning seasons".
DaneMcVagina... do you consider one Steve Bono to be a "franchise QB"? He was the Chiefs starting QB for back-to-back winning seasons in the 1990's. That would fit your definition of a QB who started on a team with "successive winning seasons". Steve Bono, franchise QB according to you, DaneMcVagina? |

DaneMcVagina is furiously trying to figure out a way to save his fat ass from that "Alex Smith = Franchise QB" comment.
LMAO You are owned like a bitch, you epic piece of shit. |

Rivers Luck Wilson Cam Winston, Marriotta and Dak are knocking on that door |
Well, the Chiefs ARE a "franchise", and Smith IS a QB.
So I suppose under those conditions, one could refer to him as a "Franchise QB". LMAO Jesus..... |

Bubby Brister was a franchise quarterback |

I think Winston and Mariota are close. Not sure about Dak. Dak has an amazing offensive line, a HOF TE, a Hall of Very Good WR in Dez and a Rookie of the Year candidate in Zeke. I'm not sure he'd fare that well in Tennessee or Tampa. Also, Luck has regressed since his ill-fated appearance in the 2014 AFC Championship game. |

Kudos. |
Mark Sanchez... successive winning seasons as a starting QB with the NY Jets and his team won in the playoffs.
So obviously DaneMcVagina considers him to be a "franchise QB". |

Going strong for nearly 14 years. Holy shit. |

Just applying your stated definition of what a franchise QB is. Mark Sanchez Bubby Brister Neil O'Donnell Steve Bono All would be defined as "franchise QB's" using your definition of the term to describe Alex Smith. LMAO |

Oh but there are more examples of past shitty QB's that fit your definition of a "franchise QB". Jake Plummer? Successive winning seasons? Check 10+ game winning seasons? Check LMAO |
