Ive often said that CJ stroud looks like he will be the next Kirk cousins.

It's a weird situation where you have a productive QB with wild wild lows. It's not like Stafford where you have a lot of underwhelming perfornances. It's performances that are really bad. The eagles game this year is a tremendous example of the wheels falling way off the bus, only for the bus to tumble off the cliff.

But who knows. Flacco was a way less consistent version but strung together a miraculously strong playoff run one time.

They've played all year this year with not much from their first round picks. They likely won't get a whole lot next year from pick 30 or whatever anyway other than the financial aspect.

So the question to answer (which is where the gamble is) is do you believe they will continue into the next 4 years without getting much from their 1st round picks from this year. It's those years you bank on in the draft and it's those years you sacrifice in a trade.

It would be fantastic to have every 1st round pick play like Micah Parsons in their rookie year. Most need time to develop, trading picks for Chubb would rob the team of three or four cost controlled years for a player with first round talent.

The problem is that the wheels always fall off for Cousins in the biggest of games. In primetime or against top tier teams, he just can't get it done consistently. In fact, he's often downright bad.

I'd take Claypool for a 2nd. He's been healthy and hasn't had anyone to throw to him. He probably won't look great with the Bears, but I think if he was on this team and either Juju, MVS, or Hardman weren't, then he'd be one of our to WR.

He's a FA agent after next year and if the Bears dont extend him, then he's someone I wouldn't mind going after on a cheap deal like the one MVS got.

Nobody cares about the Steelers here. We want to know if the CHIEFS are done goddammit!

Why? That team is terrible and now they take on a huge contract for a corner?

They have 2 first rounders from last year developing.

Look at the last 10 years of first rounders here. Other than Mahomes and Fisher, the others have been pretty replaceable

Steelers making all of these moves and still have shit at the most important position.

All the more reason to just forget about it.

Chargers will regret JC Jackson contract. he's out for the year and was sucking balls anyway. Gave up big tds in big moments this year. Never take an NE player Bill doesn't want to pay. Never take an NE coach either. Faiders figuring that out the hard way.

4 of those years they didn't have 1st round picks, the 2 you named were good picks. CEH was a bad pick and I'd say Dee Ford too but Peters was on that list as well.
