Thanks. Protein is definitely a priority for me. The leaner the better. Contests on your progress. Maybe one day you'll take up running and we can do a 5k.

That's actually one of my goals by the end of summer. Another goal is some type of lean protein with every meal/snack. Greek yogurt, FTW! Although, I don't think it's good for your low carb, so never mind.

Get that fat homie!

You might want to listen to Buck, Floppy. I'm not doing no carbs. I'm doing moderate portions of non-white carbs and moderate fat, so I want the lean protein.

What is your calorie intake each day? Calories in still matters to me, so more fat equals less food. What am I missing?

Fat is still food, like cheese, etc. Sure it's less in grams, if that's what you mean.

I try to stay under 1500 a day and I have no problem doing it. Theoretically I could eat up to 2500 a day and still be fine.

Yeah. I'm trying to eat chicken so I can enjoy cheese and sour cream and what not. I went over 20 grams of carbs today. Oh well. It's a process I suppose. The food was great. Chili dogs killed me today. I was thinking I could eat 40 grams a day. I'm averaging 1000 calories a day the last 2 days and want to keep it that way. I NEED to peel off 50 asap. On that note, I need to get to bed so I can hit the gym in the morning.

First satisfactory day at the gym today. Shirt was absolutely soaked. 400 calories is all I've eaten in a taco like scramble. Seasoned ground beef, green bell peppers, red onion and some eggs. For dinner? **** I have no idea. I'll have to figure something out.

Buck 02-25-2012 06:43 PM

**** you just reminded me that I put out some ground beef to defrost like 8 hours ago!

P.S. drinking a shit load of water is the best way to lose weight.

244.5 this morning, with a disclaimer. I weighed in at 248.5 last week, but that was on our old scale. It hadn't been very consistent on weight so we replaced it with a better scale. It weighs about 3-3.5 pounds lighter. So in reality, I lost only a pound during the week.

Overall, though, I've lost about 17 lbs in 7 weeks.

Good Lord, I beat the ever loving shit out of myself at the gym today. Didn't feel good, man. Currently fasting. 4 hours from now is looking good right now since my stomach is kicking the shit out of me. That, does feel good man. It feels like ****ing discipline. I'm back, bitches. :)

About an hour after I got up this morning, my back began to ache so badly that I can barely even stand up right now. Which frustrates me because it's 60 outside and I'd really been looking forward to a bike ride. Hopefully this will clear itself up in the next 48 hours.

Flushes out all of the bad stuff. A lot of people do the juice cleanses, which are good, but I'd rather eat my nutrients and drink a lot of water.
