Be a vegetarian for a month and cut your sugar in half. You'll feel great and the pounds will melt off

I drink 5 sodas a day if I just stopped drinking soda I would probably lose 20 pounds.

I'm doing keto and averaging around 1800 calories a day and dropping weight. And that includes eating carbs and roughly 2500 calories on my carb night.

If I have to listen to Clay give life advice one more ****ing time, especially about health and fitness, I might just slap somebody.

That dude was a fat shit and now he's skinny fat.

ROFL

I love it that Clay's now a fitness guru. I about spit out my drink the other night while reading and coming across Clayton "Hot Pocket" W. (name withheld) telling someone to "eat like a grown up."

In all seriousness, I just don't get the hate for Clay on here. He's hilarious.

Not at all. I enjoy a vigorous lifting routine 3x a week.

PS - I don't eat hot pockets anymore.

It doesn't take a fitness guru to recognize that Quest bars are a ****ing ripoff, though.

After a big **** up month in late feb/early march where I went up to 216 (my heaviest ever), I'm back down under 200 now. Feels good brah.

I was at 190 yesterday morning. Adderal and studying makes for an effective weight loss plan :D

I'm starting to make a real effort to hold myself accountable. I bought a Garmin Vivosmart and set it up last night. I have a pretty sedentary job, so I chose it over Fitbit because it has idle alerts (if I don't move it reminds me). I have to lose roughly 40 pounds to get to the surgery mark for a kidney transplant, so I'm motivated.

Currently at 282. It's frustrating to hear nephrologists, surgeons, and dietitians tell me it's going to be really hard, that I'm doing great just maintaining weight (almost all PD patients gain weight).

I need to talk to my dietitian to figure out how many calories I absorb through my dialysate solution. Carbs are ingested through that, and I have to eat a fairly large amount of animal protein and potassium every day since the dialysis washes both out of my body every night. So I don't know if a low-carb approach that's worked for me in the past would work now.

But I'm posting here as part of my intent to be accountable. I'm also keeping a strict diary of everything I eat.

Tried to cut back on sure, eat cleaner, workout 5-6 times a week and add more protein. Already lost 3 pounds this past week down to 231
