Pitching to Crawford was stupid. He beat us twice with Bumgardner in the on deck circle. Ned is a scared bitch when it's time to make a call.

Agreed, stupifying decision...and then Bum grounds to 3rd, would've been a DP.

Maybe because history is on the side of most of us....we've seen the Royals, Chief's, MU Tigers and yes even the Jayhawks snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Who cares? We had 4 hits and 1 guy reached 2B.

What does that have to do with anything? None of that history means anything for this series. KC may ultimately lose, but one has to like Ventura v. Peavy.

Why? They'll just pull Peavy early and put in Petit like last night - and all their other pen guys who never give up hits

Because that gave them a 2-0 lead and changed the complication of the game? Not sure we would have won, but I think if he made the right call there is likely 0-0 heading into the 9th. Again I'm assuming he goes to Davis to start the 8th.

But yeah, you've got to hit better than that.

Before tonight, Wade Davis never gave up runs either. Stop being a Nancy boy.

I like the Ventura vs Peavy matchup in KC. I think we win game 6 and tie it up.

The crazy game is going to be game 7. If we don't get some runs scored early, that game could be trouble because you know Bochy will be pulling out all the stops to win that one. We're likely to see Petit AND Bumgarner again in that game if Hudson (Im assuming Hudson is getting game 7...) surrenders runs early.

Shields was a helluva lot better tonight, but Bumgarner is in a whole other universe right now.

After what happened to Wade Davis tonight, it should put to rest some of the rumblings about the 6th inning of game four with 2 on and no outs. The way those guys were swinging in that game, they would've been able to get to Wade.

This is just what Championship teams do. Its time to find out if the KC Royals are made of the same stuff. Its right there in front of them, all they have to do is take it. They've beaten the Giants back to back once already this series, against the upcoming 2 starters. Just have to do it again except this time we'll be at home for both games.

Here's History for you. In 1985 the Royals were down 3-2 going back home and they didn't quit. The same ****ing situation the 2014 Royals are in

Is George Brett going to suit up? Bret Saberhagen?
Maybe someone who might hit a HR? Stave Balboni? Heck, Frank White was a better HR hitter than anyone on this team.

Ill help further. In 2002 the giants took a 3-2 lead against the angels, and lost in Anaheim to the Damn rally monkeys.

I posted it in the other thread... but in recent history, when the series is 2-2, the game 5 winner actually has lost the series more times than they've won. It's close to 50/50 though.

Yeah. I saw that. If the giants Don't win it on Tuesday, they will not win the world series.
