I only fought with Chiefs fans after the game, though. And my co-worker (Colts fan) was so afraid of being happy at my expense that I think I ruined his entire experience going to the game.

After I fought with a group of Chiefs fans who were giving me the whole "it was still a good year!" bullshit...

I did proceed to give them my authentic $250 Berry jersey and then when I got back to my car at the Indy Buffalo Wild Wings I gave my Chiefs Reebok hoodie to another miserable Chiefs fan.

I also swore I'd never watch another game until the Chiefs made the Super Bowl.

and then I also threw away every other single piece of Chiefs attire I owned once I made it back home.

Do I regret these things now?

Yes.

I swore on my long drive home in the blizzard that I would never spend another penny on this franchise til they at the very least win a playoff game and I plan on sticking to it. I live in St Joe and haven't been to training camp once. **** this team til they do something of significance.

I bet it's real ****ing tough to be a Colts fan. I sure don't know how they do it!

Same here. I'm going to KC for a FF draft the weekend of the 3rd PS game, and a friend wants to go. Told him if we get free tickets and parking, I'll go.

Debating on Sunday Ticket this year. I'll definitely get it if they give me a deal. I don't think I'd miss the Chiefs much at all, but I enjoy watching the rest of the league.

Well, when the team hasn't won a playoff game in 20 years, there aren't going to be many of us with a "winning record".

It's not you, it's them.

Stephenson injured ****

Mr_Tomahawk 07-27-2014 09:52 AM

@TerezPaylor: Looks like the injured player might have been Dwayne Bowe, not Mark Harrison.

Having been a fan for longer than many here have been alive, and longer than most here, I stopped getting pissed at losses years and years ago.

I laughed at that last playoff game.

It's the Chiefs.

It's what I have come to expect.

Meh. I'm not going to get concerned over camp "injuries" until there's a real reason to - like the team issuing a statement that Player X might be out a while, or it's something season-threatening.

Guys tweak shit constantly in camp, and the TwitterVerse always makes it out as a catastrophe.

WTF, the one on the left looks like a female version of Chase Daniel.

No, he's not necessarily a bad backup. He's just an unknown backup who is getting way more trust than he deserves as the ol' reliable guy who can win 2-3 ugly games for you if you have to and the playoffs are on the line. He's not that guy because he's never proven to be that guy.

We don't know if he's that guy. Hell, at least Damon Huard showed he could do that in Miami before he came here. Daniel only had preseason games before coming here and now he's got ONE game on his resume in which zero expectations were placed on him.

Again, that's not terrible for a backup QB. We could certainly do far worse. But when we've got two much younger QBs with far higher potential on the roster and keeping Daniel means dropping one of them, that's when I'll take the two younger guys.
