70%?

Hey man, the NFL has brought this on themselves. It's really hard to pay $165 a ticket (that's what mine cost) to sit in a ****ing ice storm in January. Now that people have 70- inch high def TVs where you can see the pimples on some lineman's ass in living color, the value of the game experience has waned. Ticket prices will never come down. If the economy continues to erode, more and more people will just stay home. Not to mention having to deal with drunk assholes, having people dent your car doors in the parking lot, paying more than a steak dinner would cost just to park, etc etc etc.

Going to the game is more than just watching guys play football. When I go I take it upon myself (as do most of the others assembled in the stadium) to participate - to do our part - to make as much noise as possible to give our team even the slightest edge on defense. When I leave the stadium I am tired, almost unable to speak. I know that not everyone sees the game this way but it's why I go to the game. I like to think that I make a difference when I'm there and I really hope that spirit won't be lost on those attending the game. I wish I could be there to scream as hard and as loud as humanly possible.

No way the stadium beats my living room. Realized that is 2004. Haven't been back to arrowhead since.

While I get that, its just not as much fun to sit at home watching the game. Even the sports bars really don't measure up.
