Sounds like that security guard showing up at his door early may have prevented the shooter from escaping and killing more people. http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/06/us/las...ion/index.html

But more guns and explosives in the car could also indicate continuing the rampage elsewhere.
He may have thought he could shoot for 15 minutes, then get down a stairwell or something and to his car. As we saw it took a while for the cops to get there. He could always blend into others fleeing the hotel. Just dress normal and don't look like a Jihadist. Once he knew the security guard was outside his door that makes fleeing a lot harder. Apparently the security guard wasn't even armed, but he probably didn't know that. I dunno - if the Vegas sheriff thinks it's a possibility that's good enough for me. |

Do you have a link for that? I read the note just had a bunch of numbers on it.

As I've said before, I'm very interested in what that note had to say. I wouldn't be shocked by anything in terms of a motive at this point. Just such a strange, tragic situation. |

Great 60 Minutes piece on the (random) cops who came together to form the team that breached the door on the 32nd floor.
They didn't interview the security guard who discovered the room that held the he shooter, but did give his name. |
