4 of those years they didn't have 1st round picks, the 2 you named were good picks. CEH was a bad pick and I'd say Dee Ford too but Peters was on that list as well.

Look at it this way, how many 2nd contract players did they get with those first round picks?

2?

Just come out and say it. You believe the only worth in those picks is to trade them.

So I think the story of the day will end of being that the Chiefs tried to work out a deal but the two sides just couldn't agree to compensation.

Teams value picks in the late first like they do 2nd rounders.

Teams value picks in the late first MUCH more than you do.

I see Allen, Chubb and Burns all being about the same production wise. The benefit of Allen or Burns is that they are under contract another year but Veach would need to go ahead and give Chubb a $20+M contract NOW. The plus side is weakening the Donks PLUS Chubb going off on them twice a year.

If Veach is dead set on a Rusher I'd still just take whichever is cheaper compensation wise.

htismaqe 11-01-2022 12:27 PM

Chubb to the Dolphins. They're going all in.

Chubb is injury prone. That alone makes him worth less than either Allen or Burns.

That possible extra cheap year is huge for being flexible with your cap space. Trading first round picks for slightly above average guys that are going to require insane contracts is a good way to **** your future and not be able to sign your own guys long term. Your way of thinking is just so stupid in regards to this.

Jerok 11-01-2022 12:31 PM

If the Dolphins could beat Josh Allen one more time for us thatd be great.

Broncos slowly rebuilding from their Russel Wilson trade lol
