Don't know about you, but I'm stunned Channing Crowder announced his retirement on a Miami radio station. Thought he could still play

Wow.

I wonder with some of these guys it's just more ego than a desire to retire. They had being out there this late in the process and are generating so little interest that they just pull the plug themselves to make them look better.

Sofa King 08-09-2011 03:52 PM

Seems to me people announce their retirement just to get people to notice them so they can come back and play.

Annoying if that's the new trend.

Double posting is also a new trend.

The Rams are going to be very average again. They've done little to really upgrade problem areas.

Yeah, they signed a ton of 'meh' guys. Great.

Average is all it takes to win that division.

It's downright amazing how many pretty knowledgeable posters here act as though them signing mostly scrubs is some big deal.

Leber provides competition at LB. LB was a big problem last year. Fills a need and it's another 1 year deal.

The Harris signing might be kind of important this year, too, since Murphy is likely out for the year.

So Dahl and Mikell are mediocre?

If you listen to the CP consensus, this year's nfc championship game will be Detroit and St Louis.
