I play at night on the west coast. Nearly 80% of the time I am on I see you on. I have the most hours played out of 99% of my friends, and I think I have more than him. You guys must just be on at the same time.

I've sent you 2 or 3 invites at night but haven't heard from you.

I had fun that first time we played on Thanksgiving. Next time you and Cjizzles are playing invite me if I am on.

OK, we will for sure.

Cool. Even though I only played like 5 or 6 games w/ you I liked how you always called out the situation over the mic. Out of all of my friends only you and Blitz do that. Everyone else just says nothing after they die or see something. I like the teamwork.

Ceej 12-09-2009 11:35 AM

I normally play with my pants at my ankles.

That normally gives me and my team the added, BIGGER advantage.

Yeah, I love teamwork too. Another reason to like Hardcore more - no killcams, so you have to have teamwork to know where the dudes are. Of course it's a huge disadvantage when nobody's using their mics, lol.

We'll definitely have a team going. You, Blitz, CJ and me already gives us 4, get 2 more people who talk over the mic and we'll have a good team rolling. I mean most of the time CJ just talks about how much he loves the cock, but you know, to each their own, at least it's somewhat entertaining. Dude was raping on Skidrow and Invasion last night though.

Add me to that list Metro. I'll crank up my Celine Dion and we'll be good to go.

Aigh. Celine Dion always makes me want to kill people, couldn't hurt, haha.

I think I've finally found my niche in hardcore team deathmatch. Just gotta be patient and smart. It still pisses me off. Last night, as a whole I've played the best I have for a long while.

I played some regular TDM with some phog dot net guys afterwards. I played pretty well. Finished the night 20-10 on Wastelands.

Gotta keep 'rollin.

Yeah, you were pretty beastly last night, I'm not going to lie.

I guess to some people what I do is hardcore camping, but as I see it, I'm a choker. I'll choke a high traffic point on the map and provide my team with a safe spawn. I do move from time to time as I see tactically beneficial, but usually every map will have a couple spots where I'll chill 80% of the time. Those spots, though, will always make me in position to be seen and shot by the people who come out if they're quick enough, so I don't feel too bad when I **** them up.

To me, camping is sitting behind a random corner and shooting people in the back as they run by. Holding a building down is not camping, as far as I'm concerned. It does require patience though.

I love how every once in a while I'll play HCTDM w/ some random people online and I'll get into a good team thats all using mics.

One of my favorite things is to get 5 players on your team holding down one spot to where the other team is trying to penetrate, but they can because you have it held down so well, while the 6th player flanks behind them and takes out anybody he sees.

It works so well.

****in-a, man. ****in-a.

My favorite spot to hold down is up on the sniper ridge of Afghan.

You get 2 guys to focus on the area where that staircase is (and the cave entrance is to the left), 2 guys to focus on the back area (where the poppy fields are sorta), and one guy at the actual sniper ridge itself, where enemies can climb up the tail of the plane if they want.

That description might be shit because you dont actually cover the cave or the poppy fields, but I was trying to lay out a general direction so it made sense.

Majority of the strategery involved in HTDM is camping, to some extent. I guess people tend to camp more because it's more life-like? I guess.

On the other hand, what is NOT life like is having bullets not register while playing HTDM or TDM and the person stabs you.

Anyway, I've definitely become more of a HTDM kind-of-guy.

It makes total sense. I know what you're talking about. That ridge can be a mother****er if people set up correctly as well.

My favorite is definitely Skidrow ranger side. God that thing is a perfect fortress and really fun to hold down.

I still run and gun for the most part because that is my game. Run-n-gun works well in HTDM because one bullet kills. In TDM i can get the first shot in but always die because I'm always moving and cant get the 3 or 4 shots necessary.

But my favorite map on HTDM is Rundown. Depending on what side you spawn on I have 2 perfect locations in that map where its pretty hard to be killed, but pretty easy to kill, yet still out in the open so its not BS or anything.

So wait a minute. Essentially what you are saying is you stay in a couple different spots during the match....is that right? You do not actively pursue the other team - you let them come to you?
