While no game result came about on Monday, major news still hit with a roster move announced by the Kansas City Royals. Southpaw John Lamb has been promoted to Wilmington from Low-A Burlington (MWL). Apparently, fellow starter Jairo Cuevas had been on the disabled list since May 11 with right shoulder inflammation. Lamb's addition brings the Blue Rocks active roster to the league maximum of 25.
Surely that's not the "big move" that Greg Schaum was tweeting about last night, the one that would "create national discussion."

No that can't be it.

My guess is either Montgomery or Arguelles is promoted to KC.

Has Arguelles even pitched this year?

I'd be leery about promoting Monty. His control has dipped since his promotion.

best to find out more. If this move happens, I imagine it happens sooner than later but never said 24 hours *sooner meaning days not weeks)

With how well Moosetacos has done thus far this season, we'd be speculating about his call up, if this were the Baird years.

Also, a DeJesus trade could well be in the works.
