He was in school about the same time I was. His sister Lisa was a very good athlete, was on the women's basketball team. She was kinda hot, IIRC.

I don't remember Mike as being a garbage guy, more like a scrapper (we probably have different definitions of what each means). A Jason Sutherland type. He was a tough sonobundle of sticksun.

I agree we probably have different definitions, but are getting at the same point. Not the kind of guy you would depend on for scoring but know he would be around the basket to scrap for the ball.

Sutherland, to me, was a bit of a disappointment. Came in with a lot of expectations but never quite met them all. Wasn't he supposed to be a good 3-point shooter?

I honestly can't remember.

I do know that he can't guard Tyus Edney. :cuss:

He was a hell of a three point shooter from the top of the key.

I get your point, not really trying to argue, but Derek Grimm was a very good shooter. 40% plus from 3.

LOL...you had to bring that up. Of course that brings to mind that no one seemed to be able to guard Edney that day. 4 other people standing around watching an NCAA highlight in the making.

I'm not so sold on my point of view I feel impelled to argue either....just seemed like he missed more than he made.

Probably the first time since he graduated that anyone has ever argued about Buck effing Grimm. :toast: congrats! :)

Looking forward to this game. It will be a good test going into SEC play.

Go Mizzou!

I will always blame him for that loss. If he would have just forced edney to go around him for just a half second then Missouri wins but no Sutherland lets Edney just go right by him. :#

If I remember correctly, and I am sure we will see it played over again before the game tonight, Edney dribbled thru most of the team that day. It was Sutherland's job first and he completely whiffed.
