Unless dude runs over a 5 at his 40.....I see him still going in the first 2 rounds.

Yes.

But all 4-3 teams should immediately cross him off, then? He was projected to be a versatile ILB, not one who was scheme dependent.

Even before this, I wouldn't touch him in the first 20 picks. You don't draft a non-pass rushing LB in the top 10. That's reeruned.

I wish we had Luke Kuechly over Dontari Poe.

This story is going to get a lot uglier before it is over and Notre Dame may get sanctioned for the cover-up. They knew 11 days before the championship game and let home go out and make false statements.

It's never the crime but the cover up.

He probably will go in 3rd or 4th round. I would be shocked if he went in the first but then again, the Raiders have the 3rd pick! LOL

Hootie 01-17-2013 07:15 PM

why in god's name would they be sanctioned because their player was hoaxed/made up a girlfriend?

alpha_omega 01-17-2013 07:16 PM

This whole story is just ****ing weird.

They withheld information of a FRAUD and Teo went out and continued that fraud.

Sanctioned? For what?

Looking at that as liberally as possible it would have to be demonstrated that they gained some sort of competitive advantage which seems highly improbable. In fact I can't fathom it.

As of now none but it's still early in the story. Let's see what shakes out as the next week passes.....

Man, if the chiefs were lucky enough to steal this guy in the second round...holy shit

Hootie 01-17-2013 07:44 PM

if I shit my pants at work and lied about it only to admit to my boss an hour later when the stink didn't go away and it started dripping down my leg and started to become noticeable and then he sent me home to shower and get some new pants only for a coworker to catch on and the boss to be like "yo he had an accident but it wasn't really his fault!!!" I don't expect my boss to get sanctions for having my back after I shit myself.
