Do cops have a high stress job? Well, knowing you could walk into a bullet-to-the-face everytime you do your job would certainly stress me out. Cops frequently jump to the wrong conclusions (and I've been on the receiving end of it before, so I know what it feels like to be wrongly accused) but, outside of a minority number of "bad cops", I think most of it can be chalked up to having to deal with stupid people with stupid stories most of the time.

Sure, it doesn't make it any better when it happens to you, but I can at least relate to where it's coming from most of the time.
