Hi there. I had 35 completions my first three years in the league.

Aaron Rodgers was an UDFA?

Hammock Parties 08-07-2013 09:50 PM

Chase Daniel and Alex Smith are BOTH going to be the next Rich Gannon.

Dorsey and Reid have actually increased their chance of landing the next Rich Gannon by doubling down on TWO guys who have had "meh" careers to date.

We got this, especially if Tyler Bray is the next Elvis Grbac!

one passing TD is good for a QB in the playoffs? it's not. Trint didn't play well in the biggest game of his career.

Alex did once.

I'm no Alex Smiff lover, but it is what it is.

Not what was asked, but if you want that stipulation...

Hi, my name is Kurt.

Quote:

Kurtis Eugene "Kurt" Warner (born June 22, 1971) is a former American football player. He played quarterback for three National Football League (NFL) teams: the St. Louis Rams, the New York Giants, and the Arizona Cardinals. He was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 1994 after playing college football at Northern Iowa.[1] Warner would go on to be considered the best undrafted player of all time,[2] following a 12-year career regarded as one of the greatest stories in NFL history.[2][3]

Warner first attained stardom while playing for the St. Louis Rams from 1998 to 2003, where he won two NFL MVP awards in 1999 and 2001[4] as well as the Super Bowl MVP award in Super Bowl XXXIV.[5] He led the 2008 Arizona Cardinals to Super Bowl XLIII (the franchise's first Super Bowl berth), and owns the three highest single-game passing yardage totals in Super Bowl history. Warner currently holds the seventh-highest career passer rating of all-time (93.7),[6][7] and the third-highest career completion percentage in NFL history with 65.5%.[8]

In 13 career playoff games, Warner ranks first all-time in completion percentage (66.5%), yards per attempt (8.55), and second in passer rating (102.8).[8] He also holds the highest completion percentage for a single game during the regular season, at 92.3 percent (24/26), on September 20, 2009, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He announced his retirement on January 29, 2010

I'm betting Aaron Rodgers wasn't released 3 times his first 4 years the way Chase Daniel was.

Steve Young sucked until he spent a few years with Walsh in San Fran.

What's your point, Doucherag? You don't even live in the Bay area.

Matt Flynn spent 4 years on the bench behind Aaron Rodgers.

SURELY HE WILL BE A QUALITY NFL QB BASED ON THIS ALONE.

True fans love ****ing outliers.

Surely he was a quality backup, which is all anyone is asking of Chase Daniel at this point.

You're an assclown.

You're joking, right?

Trent threw 3 touchdowns that didn't stay on the board.

Morton and Boerighter dropped one each and a To y G TD got called back for a "push off".

Apart from that, Priest Holmes fumbled on a long play that was close to scoring and that created a 10 or 14 point swing.

To act as if Trent had a re in that loss is not even close to how that game should be remembered.

FFS his offense didn't punt all day.

Ace Gunner 08-07-2013 10:07 PM

meh. excuses

Excuses?

Is that another joke?

How many picks did Trent throw? How many times did he fumble the ball?

FFS how could he have changed his play in that game that would have helped the Chiefs win?

Spray his teammates gloves with tough skin?

3 of his passes were thrown with pinpoint accuracy and his teammates didn't come through and Priests fumble sealed the loss because everyone knew that defense wasn't even good enough to slow Manning down, let alone stop him.
