If the Big 12 extended an invitation to Boise State, BYU, and TCU they would surely all come wouldn't they? I don't see why you don't do that at this point or just blow it all up.

BYU is kinda far away but would be good for conference

Boise State would look terrible for switching conference twice is such a short time period.

TCU - Why would we want them?

If any real conferences invite Spud State the first thing they need to tell them is no more smurf turf.

Texas, Missouri, Kansas, etc would throw a fit over Boise State's academics as well.

I do not see TCU leaving....First off, why would they want to compete with the UT BS? I know there are dollar bills involved, but they are already in a BCS conference that is rather weak in football and they can easily be top dogs. If they jump to the Big 12 that won't be the case.

Boise gets extremely offended when they hear people say that. Next time spell it out.

TCU would look just as bad as Boise St. TCU is now apart of the Big East.

Houston, BYU, would be decent options.....maybe Louisville, but I do not think any of them except for Houston would bolt. The conference doesn't look that stable.

I don't think Boise State would get an offer. I think if three are offered, you're likely looking at:

BYU
New Mexico
TCU/Houston/SMU

New Mexico sounds weird, but it's a growing state with big-time basketball already on board (which shows the AD can commit to sports).

Keeps the "geographical continuity." Adds TV sets (BYU and New Mexico) and some national fanbase (BYU).

I also could see them sticking with just BYU.

why would we want another Texas school?

we want to expand our markets and we have plenty of schools from Texas already.

BYU,Notre Dame,Arkansas,Boise State etc

Heck even Colorado State would be better than another Texas school imo.

Its going to be ND and BYU. The other school will come from the Big East, or their fall back option could be another Texas school after aTm leaves.. but I'm pulling for a BigE school. I've been saying it and saying it. ND and BYU are coming.

The only complication is that ND and BYU might be football only for the first few years.

Because the state of Texas runs your conference duh.
