By the way, here's a summary of what Schaum has posted that I found from a poster on Royals Review:

It’s a surprising minor league move that will garner national attention. It involves a player that has never played in the majors and two other moves would have to be made to accommodate that player’s new spot. It’s not Wil Myers, but it is a big time Royals prospect.

This scares the shit out of me, since this player shouldn't be on anything but the long, long-range forecast.

So we're talking about Mont or Moose, obviously?

Those are the only two that fit the description.

Apparently success in your first month-and-a-half at the AA level warrants a call-up. :shake:

I had forgotten about that part from last night.

I can't believe DM would promote Moose or Monty to the bigs right now. And I can't imagine him doing it with Hosmer just in high-A, or Crow who has been mediocre so far ... Myers is off the table ... Derrick Robinson? Osuna? Those last two aren't exactly "big time" prospects (although Robinson suddenly has become intriguing).

I think he's FOS. But we'll see.

This, an exponential amount.

Jayson Stark: "Ned Yost is a very good ML manager."

Cool...

With how well Moosetacos has done thus far this season, we'd be speculating about his call up, if this were the Baird years.

Also, a DeJesus trade could well be in the works.

I know he catches a lot of flak but I really don't want to see us trade DDJ. His defense is pretty ****ing good, his arm is pretty good and his bat is pretty good. That makes him one of the best on this team.

His arm is mediocre, but, this aside, I agree with you.

Dude is a pussy, can't run the bases worth a shit, but he's absolutely a viable ML player (who should not be hitting ****ing third--put Butler in the 3 spot, please, Ned).

Sure-Oz 05-18-2010 11:30 AM

I am sure Schaum will let the cat out of the bag if it happens or not.

Sure-Oz 05-18-2010 11:31 AM

DDJ is a solid player, but not a corner stone. Alot of teams would love to have him, teams that can win now. He is a pussy though but i'll admit that catch last night probably grew a few ball hairs for him

Interesting timing to say the least......sounds like Moustakas to the majors is indeed what he is strongly hinting at.
