KU isnt that strong of a team yet.

Maybe a decent team by years end. But the talent pool is very weak this year.

We only have one preseason All American on the team, I can see how saying that out talent pool is "very weak" is not completely reeruned.

I see this being a pretty tight game, with UK pulling away for a 10-12 point win in the end.

Pretty silly to say the talent pool is weak. We have enough talent in our starting 5, we just aren't as deep in years past. However, if a few guys on the bench exceed expectations, then we can be a pretty damn good team. Just may be a few bumps along the way.

Its more about out depth which isnt very deep as in years past.

Of course you didn't mean we had a "very weak" talent pool, seems you rarely really mean what you say.

I don’t really get all the griping about this year’s team. We may not have the depth we had in recent years, but where has that gotten us? UConn won the whole thing last year with one star player and some good role-players. You’d think that everyone that complained about managing so many egos, too many player combinations early leading to a lack of chemistry late, and playing guys like Brady and Tyrel for 30 minutes a game would be loving this year’s team. Depth is extremely overrated, and yet KU fans are moping and calling it quits before the season even starts just because of that.
