As to the DMC and Moeaki picks...

Could we have done better at those picks?

Sure

Does that mean that after 2 years they were bad picks?

Haha no

Let's try to keep the expectations realistic for our draft picks.

I know you and lots of others hate the Dexter pick and many of the reasons given for such are reasonable...but after seeing a small sample of what he did with a guy like Orton at QB and having 850 yards of offense last year with crap at qb the other 13 games should show you what his actual potential really is.

You, all of you missed my point... WE HAVE MORE TALENT THEN MIAMI AND CLEVELAND HAD!!! WAY MORE.

Dude can't even return kicks or play WR anymore.

If Moeaki keeps breaking things, he's also a colossally bad pick.

Colossally is a strong word for a 3rd rounder. The Chiefs are taking a gamble with taking a TE with 1-2nd round talent, but a history of injuries. I still say it's worth the gamble in the 3rd round.

Moeaki is definitely more talented than those guys if he can stay on the field, imo.

Still stupid to give up an additional pick for a project player like that.

But he's not a project player. WHen healthy he is the starting TE, he was as a rookie. We'll see what happens from here out but that remains a good pick

Fat Scott views his job with the Chiefs as nothing more than a meal ticket (and that is quite a meal ticket given how much he eats). He's on record saying that he doesn't like to do anything too risky in the draft because he wants to be in KC long term to raise his family.

Fat Scott's main priority is to play it safe and hold onto his paychecks for as long as possible in KC.

The goal of doing everything possible to a win a Super Bowl is so far removed from these clowns it is laughable.

If you hate the Chiefs as much as you act like then you should find another team. You have to be the most miserable, negative person around. The people that have to deal with you on a daily basis must hate it. How do you stand living like this? Your life must suck.

If Moeaki keeps getting hurt, and Jimmy Graham keeps beasting, yes, it was a colossal **** up.

So by that thinking Han, every qb drafted before the sixth round that hasn't won multiple SB's is a colossal **** up?

Jimmy Graham does have the most accurate QB in the NFL throwing at him. QBs have much more of an impact than any receiver ever will.

I really think we are bringing in one of these free agent qb's this offseason. Dunno which one but I think the front office realizes the Cassel dislike.

If manning is healthy obv. thats who you take. If he's not I'd take Orton or my sleeper pick Vince Young.

He only caught 31 passes as a rookie. His improvement is because the guy is a freaking insane weapon.

He would be terrific for Cassel in the red zone and on third down. He's three inches taller than Moeaki and his vertical jump is 4.5 inches higher. He's also faster by .13 in the 40.

So maybe it's a blessing we didn't take him.

Stupid thinking. It's been said already but this thinking means every later round pick that pans out makes all other players taken before that aren't as good (even if they're pretty good) at that same position colossal **** ups. Nope.

Uh, no.

Try to examine the pick in a vacuum.

It's a solid pick if Moeaki keeps producing like he did as a rookie.

If he keeps breaking and guys drafted well after him keep beasting, take the egg off Pioli's face and fry it for him so he stops eating stupid.

When you get ****ing nothing out of a pick and you could have had a Pro Bowler, it's a huge screw up.

It's a fine pick if Moeaki stays healthy.

Well, sure. If Moeaki keeps getting hurt it'll turn into a disappointing pick sure. But not because a TE taken later is better.
