I don't feel good about his situation at all.

I really liked Yost no bull shit cander with the media. He doesn't bull shit like you get with NFL coaches that deflect the questions and talk irreverence.

I cannot disagree. The first time he had the flexor strain there was just the standard worry that comes from pitchers and their elbows, in my case. The second time he had the exact same injury, for me, is when I became very, very skeptical. Sucks to see that I might actually be right on my skepticism.

Twins down 2-0 in the 6th.

Right now he's blocked at the Major League level. September call ups is a definite possibility, however. So, yes.

EDIT: Actually, is he on the 40-man roster?

Nope, he's not.

I've tried & they've wore me out arguing.

If Vargas is done for the year, I bet that increases the odds we pick up Guthrie's option. Especially if it's something major that lingers into next year.

I dont care how Andy Mc-C comes off in real life, his twitter game is strong

I don't know. Im sure they are counting on Duffy, Volquez, and Medlen. Ventura, Lamb, and maybe a few of the other guys in the minors might make a push as well.

If Vargas is done (worst case scenario), then they'll do the standard 15 day DL, call up someone from Omaha, and wait until close to September (assuming no trades) and transfer him to the 60 day.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if they move Vargas to the 60 day DL, doesn't it open up one spot on the 25 and 40 man roster?

KChiefs1 07-21-2015 10:37 PM

They gotta give Lamb a start don't they?

How did we fall ass backwards into the genius of Andy from Dutton?

Pure luck.
