It's all good, it's just not in the cards this year IMO. Then again, if this team can dig deep perhaps they can win the next game there and bring it home for some HFA.

Don't think I heard that at all in September, but August/September doesn't mean anything right now. The Cards went through a similar slump, but came out of it earlier.. Houston went 11-16 in September, and like the Royals, snapped out of the last week of the season.

The Royals could have easily lost the WC game last year, none of that happens and the Astros aren't "the '14 Royals". Last year was extraordinary, obviously not the norm for teams that make it to the World Series... losing a couple games doesn't make this team any less capable, it means they're going through the same adversity as almost every other team has gone through in the history of baseball and sports.... as 'Hamas' said in not so many words.

No way, the better baseball team could never possibly lose a five game series. LMAO

Better team? We are 3-6 vs them and struggled vs playoff teams. They'd have prob won 90+ in our division too.

O-fer at Houston this year.

Gotta win in a place the Royals haven't won in awhile.

This team lost it's swagger over a month ago. That spark that started last postseason and carried them most of the regular season just fizzled out. It's a damn shame knowing this team has a limited window of being able to do something great.

GloryDayz 10-11-2015 06:52 PM

At least we have the Chiefs. So there's that...

chiefqueen 10-11-2015 07:11 PM

Also LoCain is not quite getting to balls today that he got to a year ago IMO. Is it the leg? Should we sit Rios, shift Cain to RF, and start Dyson in CF?

penbrook 10-11-2015 07:16 PM

You guys act like the Royals are gonna lose the series!! Ventura will beast tommorow and send game 5 back to Kauffman where Cueto will show us why he got paid the big bucks and Cain will hit a walk off home run to **** all them haters right in the face!

I dont think it has anything to do with that. Did you ever think that the Stros match up well with the Royals?

Is this a good time to remind everyone that aces don't matter?

Should've done that all season. But we didn't want anyone "getting exposed" so we gave Alex Rios 500 PA.
