Hopefully we don’t get an episode like last season. Episode 3. 🤦*♂️

That episode was some of the best television made last year.

Episode 3 was probably the best episode of the 1st season of this show. The takes are getting bad in here.

Good episode but they try way too hard with the gay shit.

nonsense.

It's consistent with the game.

You're the guy Joel punched out at the party.

Games are also trying way too hard with this shit, and it's usually because one of the devs is gay.

Should have been toned down.

why is it "trying too hard"?

Is it outside the realm of possibility for two or three people to be gay in a community?

Look, it doesnt do it for me, but it's not distracting from the story - as a matter of fact, it's damn near shot for shot from the game.

Concur. Even though it was somewhat of a standalone episode, I thought it was brilliant.

It's forced over-representation of homosexuals to satisfy a narcissistic agenda.

Homosexuals are 1-2% of the population.

The show has shown us three gay relationships in 10 episodes. LMAO

In a post-apocalyptic setting, this is extremely unlikely, comes off as forced and takes you out of the story.

I'd be fine with one. I'm not a homophobe. But what they have done is just cringe. Fortunately the rest of it is good enough that I can power through it.

Why does the population average matter when the main character of the show is literally gay? Obviously gay characters are going to have more gay relationships than the average person. LMAO

If anything it’s hard to Believe there would still be homophobes in that world. I mean dude, there are far bigger issues to worry about than two girls kissing.

it's a silly thing to get hung up on, for sure.

And as I mentioned, spot-on accurate from the game.

If that element is too much for some, it's easy to just not watch (though they'd be missing out on probably the best story ever told in a video game).

Spoiler!

If you enjoy it, more power (bottom) to you.

You’re not a homophobe but you find two girls’ kissing “cringe”?

It’s unfortunate the creators of the ORIGINAL ****ING GAME didn’t have more incels in their focus group so that they would’ve understood that they overshot their quota of one gay interaction per ten episodes.

That two-minute sequence really required a lot of grit to “power through it.” LMAO

Hammock Parties 04-14-2025 01:35 PM

Relax, buddy. They didn't get my dime, anyway.

dlphg9 04-14-2025 01:37 PM

Clay, you're just showing your lack of self awareness. Of all people on CP to call out someone or something for being try hards or cringe you are the absolute last mother****er that has any right to say anything.

You spent years sucking off Nick Athan and making up lie after lie with him because you crave attention. You then bailed on him, but decided to slither over to your Facebook friends. You let your mentor Nick take all the heat from the lies you two made up, but instead of cleaning up your shit and growing up like most people do you got worse.

Youre a full blown incel because your mom didn't give you enough love. Kinda sad really.

There isn't a more cringe, try hard on this entire site.
