Here at my house in Glorious Independence, there's just a little glaze on the concrete. It's nothing a little rock salt won't cure. But it's supposed to get slowly worse as the day goes by, and overnight tonight we're supposed to get the worst of it. On TV the main routes look OK, but side streets will be tricky. Nothing awful, yet.

Damn the forecast on weather.com has it 50% or more chance of rain from 2-7pm. Not sure that will be a fun tailgate.

I'll be tailgating with Guru, Dedicated Fan and those guys. That's my usual jam. I'll be with Sedated and OnTheWarpath. Hopefully my usual scheme of ignoring the parking pointers and just going rogue over to their spot will work as it has in the past. I'm usually in my VW camper van and people just let me roll wherever, throwing the peace sign, etc.
My nissan truck doesn't have that cred.

Yep, it wasn't bad at all driving to work this morning. So far-lots of hype-not much ice.

I would be in favor of a retractable roof at Arrowhead for situations like today. I would never be in favor of using it during a game, but it would sure help the fans.

The seats are going to be cold and wet as hell and people will fall. Probably frozen ice everywhere.

This would go a long way towards helping fans enjoy the experience at Arrowhead bc we've seen empty seats in the past due to this.

I've chipped ice off seats there before.

Yep, brought an ice scrapper into a game on more than one occasion.

Well they have a tarp up, the used new sod in the middle strip and have the new heating system under neath the field. Worked great vs Oakland and Tennessee.

Think we're fine there. It's just the seats and stairs. It sucks but people are more inclined to watch at home then deal with the annoyance of frozen/slick seats/stairs.
That should be something the Chiefs should make a priority
