What's more likely here man? I mean, you're trading for a guy who you've seen play in the league vs taking a guy who never has.

Do you know how many free agent/traded defensive linemen EVER equal or surpass their historical production for their new team?

It almost NEVER happens.

So amazing....that they only had 15 sacks before they brought in Chubb.

Chubb is injury prone. That alone makes him worth less than either Allen or Burns.

Yep pretty much identical numbers only difference is Chubb has been in the league a year longer.

Kinda shocking they don't have more though right?

You will not besmirch Chester McGlockton's good name like that sir!

CupidStunt 11-01-2022 12:42 PM

Makes sense. Their owner gives NO ****s about the future.

They'll regret it in 2-3 years, zero question. Let's see how they end up doing this year.

Another pass rusher to hurt Josh Allen. [emoji106]

2-3 years in the NFL is an eternity guys. The Chiefs have damn near turned over their entire roster in 3 years.

Red Dawg 11-01-2022 12:43 PM

Football is year to year. **** the future. We need a pass rush now! Make a move Veach!

Sure, if you hit on a player worth it.

Which at that point in the draft, isn't much different than a 2nd rounder.

You're logic is so completely flawed and everyone has tried explaining it, but you just don't seem to get it.

The problem is that the wheels always fall off for Cousins in the biggest of games. In primetime or against top tier teams, he just can't get it done consistently. In fact, he's often downright bad.

A big part of that is his inability to trust protection and he gets rattled. TJ is going to help a HUGE amount in that because he will help seal the edge and provide a dependable receiving option.

This is a huge get for Minnesotas chance to get to a Super Bowl
