LMAO

Reerun_KC 12-14-2013 07:43 PM

Lol those foulhawks.

KC_Connection 12-14-2013 07:44 PM

Not much of a foul on Wiggins there, but that will bring them right back in the game. Kendall Williams is very good at drawing them.

Imon Yourside 12-14-2013 07:44 PM

If you're going to foul at least make contact.

ArrowheadHawk 12-14-2013 07:44 PM

How the **** was that a foul on Wiggins?

O.city 12-14-2013 07:45 PM

Never ever ever foul a jump shooter.

Jesus I realize this team is young, but it's pretty basketball stupid

texaschiefsfan 12-14-2013 07:48 PM

Yeah, this team doesn't play smart at all.

Reerun_KC 12-14-2013 07:49 PM

50 fts. Already in thia game. Be proud ncaa.

Tharpe finally pulling his head out.

If he would just play under control, he could be a good pg

Tharpe dishin' some dimes tonight.

O.city 12-14-2013 07:53 PM

That's prolly on ellis

Imon Yourside 12-14-2013 07:55 PM

Embiid is a man, WOW! The guy impresses me with every post move...Looks so silky smooth too.

Demonpenz 12-14-2013 07:55 PM

Embid is gone after this year. Mason not playing tonight at all.

O.city 12-14-2013 07:56 PM

Been much better defensively tonight.

texaschiefsfan 12-14-2013 07:56 PM

Time to finish this one. Close out strong.

He just started Mason that one game to motivate Tharpe. Maybe it worked.

See ya Kirk.

The embiid to Hakeem comparisons are much closer than the other silly ones

and another phantom foul call.

Did he? Still think it was just to motivate Tharpe. They need Nadir playing close to this regularly if they want to reach their potential. He's one of the few guys on the team that can both facilitate the ball and make a 3PT shot. Made a big difference tonight.

O.city 12-14-2013 08:06 PM

Good win against a pretty good team.

Still things to iron out, but on the right path

Yeah @CU, @UF. Just checked on KUAthletics.

I'm still surprised to not see much of Mason -- even with Tharpe playing well.

KC_Connection 12-14-2013 08:10 PM

Yeah, I didn't expect this kind of win. New Mexico is very good, but we showed the kind of quality basketball we're capable of tonight for a longer period. Embiid is just such an all-around force out there.

Doesn't get any easier next with Georgetown, but at least it will be a true home game. Our first in a month.

I'm sure he won't be banished to the bench or anything, but there was no reason to change what was working tonight. This was the first game they played well since Towson.

KC_Connection 12-14-2013 08:15 PM

Tarik should be banished to the bench, though. There's no reason for him to get a single minute if Lucas can play like that.

The crazy thing is Lucas didn't play incredible by any means -- but, he did what he was supposed to and already has produced more than TB.

O.city 12-14-2013 08:20 PM

Black was brought in for his "leadership" but that isn't needed now. Just roll with the young guys. Let Lucas come off the bench as the first big

Just rebounded, made open layups, didn't turn the ball over whenever he touched it, and didn't foul. All things that have proven very complicated for Black.

Did Black even play in the 2nd half?

No. He played for a 2 minute stretch in the first where he cost the team about 8 points and then never after that.

Braincase 12-14-2013 08:35 PM

I am still stunned and absolutely amazed about the call on Wiggins at 3:19 remaining in the first half. I have been assured by a highly qualified and knowledgeable youth coach that they do not call "over the back" fouls beyond elementary school.

Because it's now called the "dick in the butt" foul.

We were to start with. Many of us Jayhawk fans are just spoiled that we have always won early with a veteran team. This years squad is different, we are milking the Calipari way this year of going young with the one and done, mixed with a few leftovers off of last years team.

We will be ALRIGHT by the end of the season. We could very well end up with 6 to 8 losses, of which is unusual for a Bill Self team.

If we get any guard play and can stroke some 3's with consistency, we will be awesome to watch come tourney time.

Wiggins still exists (and has done absolutely nothing to lose his position). But if Embiid keeps having games like that, it's only a matter of time until he's right there in the #1 conversation.

Pants 12-14-2013 11:01 PM

Embiid would without a doubt go #1 in 2015. Maybe Massa Self will make another appearance and make him stay.

I'd guess he's already in that discussion among scouts

How many of Kentucky's last 9 road/neutral games have they won?

A. 0
B. 0
C. 0
D. All of the above

Now, to convince my fiancé...

Seems to me if anybody's stock has gone down, it's Randle. And it really hasn't much, but it hasn't improved. Wiggins stock may have "gone down", but he's still #1.
