I think it goes one of two ways:

1) La Russa pulls him from the roster for Chambers, who we can use for outfield D and as a PR

2) La Russa pulls him for McClellan or Sanchez, because our bullpen, aside from Dotel and Zep, is damn-near shredded.

Motte, Lynn, and Salas shouldn't be used for Game 7.

Basically, Scrabble/Rhodes/Dotel/Boggs are good for Game 7.

That's a bit of an overstatement (Vernon is a much worse hitter), but it certainly seems like Holliday always fails when the pressure's on. I don't know if there are any more idiots like Reagins out there.

Salas and Lynn threw too many pitches. I don't trust Boggs in a game 7 under any circumstances.

Possibly, but they can have Dotel close out the 9th or Scrabble can if a lefty is up.
