Getting closer to gametime. Have a feeling this is going to be a classic. I know Carpenter is on three days rest, but I see him having a big big game.

The rain out day allowed Carpenter to go tonight on 3 days rest. He pitched game 5.

I don't think you count Friday as a day of rest, since he is pitching on Friday :)

Don't they typically try to pitch aces every 5th day? So not a start, then 5 days and then a start, that would be the 6th day.
