Kind of odd that this Vrabel deal hasn't been put on kcchiefs.com yet. I wonder if there really is more to this transaction than meets the eye?

Probably not...although I'm perfectly fine giving up anything but our 3rd overall pick for Matt Cassel.

Why on earth would anyone have a problem with adding a seasoned vet LB to a team so devoid of talent at the LBing spot as the Chiefs are? Beyond the fact that him being cut is flat out wrong, giving up a late round pick (which we don't even know what pick it is yet) isn't the worst thing that can happen to a team where one late round pick (probable) is not going to impede our progress as a team in any way shape or form. And I can assure you that my elderly mother still has a rather trim figure, so theres no more crawling up her ass. Or out for that matter.
