We have a perpetually open window as long as we have Mahomes. Other teams operate with heightened urgency when they sense theirs is closing. Chiefs have the luxury of not operating like that if they choose not to. This year is proof of that.

There are a lot of idiot GMs. That doesn't really help your case and who has it worked for? If KC wasnt such a good franchise, then that Frank Clark trade could have really ****ed us. If Patrick Mahomes doesn't take a deal that's extremely club friendly, then that Clark deal could have kept us from keeping Jones and without him this D is absolute trash.

The Chiefs did it, Seattle etc.
