Defend Haley, sure. Defend Cassel, sure.

Defend Palko?

My tolerance limit has been reached.

I'm serious.

There's sane, and then there's defending Palko.

He's not better than anyone in the NFL. Not one single QB. He's the worst there is. He's like Jonathan Quinn wrapped in a Tyler Thigpen flavor. It makes me want to vomit.

Isn't that we have been doing with KC QBs and their backups since Trent Green?

Wow.

It's really not about containing Tebow. He's been contained just about every week and then the opposing team just decides to abandon everything they've been doing for 3 1/2 quarters.

Put Tebow on the Chiefs and you aren't sitting here washing his balls like he's something special.

Are you serious?

Palko doesn't have the physical ability to make the plays with his legs that TeBow has, and he's an even worse passer when he's running than when he's in the pocket.

That is the real reason they aren't utilizing his athletic ability to get out of the pocket.

Once again, I point out that this offense averaged 20+ points a game with Jamaal Charles, and 13+ without since Haley took over in '09.

Charlie Weis had the benefit of a full season with Charles and one of the sofest schedules ever.

It's a sad commentary on Scott Pioli and his chioce of Matt Cassel.

I disagree. Weis makes Haley look like a clown.

Todd Haley is an incompetent douchebag. Playing a hurry up offense when you are averaging 1.4 yards a play is beyond stupid.

It's time for him to be canned.

I'm not arguing against firing Haley.

At this point, I don't care.

But to argue that Weis did anything for this offense is shortsighted, at best.

Like I said, he benefitted from a full season of Charles and a soft schedule.

Against the better teams on that schedule, this offense's ineptitude. specifically Cassel, was on full display.

NJChiefsFan 12-11-2011 09:04 PM

How come people use the 2010 season as proof of Weis but don't mention the OAK and BAL games? Does everyone just take it as fact that Haley took over the offense at that point?

Nobody with a brain expected Kc to win more than 9 games. That was the MOST I expected KC to pull out with our schedule, and that was when our best players weren't on IR.

The fact that anyone is shocked we're a 5 win team without these guys is simply amazing to me.

ROFL

They end in a sack about 10 times more often than a TD. Furthermore, a flea flicker will NEVER work when you can't run the ball.

It was talked about before the year, how you can't look at this schedule and think it's gonna be a murder.

Teams aren't as good as predicted teams are better than predicted.

We lost 3 of our best players and our starting qb and people act like we should still be a sb contending team.

Tyler Palko is a "veteran backup".

Nothing more needs to be said.

And that bubble burst. Time for Stanzi.

It is not that they are losing it is how they are losing.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't Stanzi or Orton. I'm guessing it will be Orton.
