His tinkering worked in the first two series. If done right, it's better that a flat Carpenter.

Haha how many people even know or remember that the Mets were down 3 in game 7 of the 86' WS. Everybody just remembers game 6.

If Dotel and Rzep do the job and hold the lead (assuming the Cards don't blow it after they leave), it will have been worth giving up Rasmus. Crazy to think about that.

I posted it earlier in the thread. Most people don't remember that. They don't remember the Cubs lead the game 7 after the Bartman game, etc. Same thing so far tonight. Texas jumped out on top and the Cards came back.
