He did kind of have an underwhelming college career, but he's had some international success. He's not far behind the top 2 or 3 guys. Wouldn't expect him to win, but it is such a weak weight. I'm rooting for him.

The 74kg challenge bracket, on the other hand, is just sick. David Taylor, Trent Paulson, and Kyle Dake at the top, with Andrew Howe on the bottom ready to meet someone in the finals. Then the winner of that match gets to wrestle Burroughs in a best of three.

Paulson beat Dake last year at the Olympic trials. They meet in the quarters tomorrow and the winner will likely get Taylor in the semis. Don't think Paulson/Taylor have met. I like these new rules, so I'm excited about this weekend. FILA junior trials on Sunday too.
